First date by Sally Banes
HI! This is a one shot I`m doing of Jack and Carly`s first date, which should be comical, and
really happy ending most likely. Thank you for reading!
(told from carly`s piont of view)
"Thanks for letting me borrow this dress, Misty." I said as I zipped it up."I`m glad to see you so happy
, and I think Jack should be looking great, too."said Misty."Do I look okay?" I said nervously.
"Go look in the mirror." she replied. I walked into the bathroom, and for the first time in my life that I
felt pretty. Just then , there was a knock on the door."That must be your man , Carly, good luck!"
said Misty and gave me shove towards the door.I opened the door, and there stood Jack.
"Good evening , mylady."he said as he bent down to kiss my doing so, he fell flat on his
face.I tried not to laugh, and helped him up."Are you okay,Jack?" I said. He said yes , took my hand ,
and we drove to the resturaunt. "So what do you do in your spare time, Jack?" I said."Well usually, I -
OW!" he yelled . He had dropped hot spagetti on himself by mistake!"This is a new shirt!" he said.
"Well, at least it wasn`t your trench coat." I said."You`re right." he said, "Why don`t we just go to the movies , instead, and hit the arcade?" He said."That sound great, besides, these fancy resturaunts are
just to stiff for me ." I said. So we left the place, and drove to the movies."Want to see the new
"Batman " movie?" he said."Sure. I`ve been obsessed with Batman since I was a kid !"I said.
The movie was great, and at the arcade I kicked Jack `s butt at pretty much everything. After that, he
drove me back to Misty`s house, were we said goodnight."Jack , thanks so much , I had a great time,
and, and..." my voice trailed off. I stood on my tiptoes , and kissed him on the cheek, and went inside.
Just before I walked inside, I turned around, and said" I love you, Jack Atlas!"
The end,not very long, but it is my first one shot.
