The Dreamflower ("Lothlórien")
Hidden under trees of gold,
Where long-awaited tales untold
Wait to embark from Earth and sky,
To times of ancient days gone by.
Two silhouettes upon a hill
Long to share their hidden will,
And embrace beneath the moon-lit sky,
Whisper an oath that will never die.
Dúnadan the Tall of noble men,
His love, the fair Lady Arwen,
Rejoicing under the stars above,
Declare their long-undying love.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
I've also published this poem as "Undying Love" under the pen name Aireoré on the BarrowDowns Fanfiction page. It was inspired by the beauty of the engagement of Arwen and Aragorn, as mentioned briefly by J.R.R. Tolkien in one of the Appendices of "Return of the King." The words seemed to flow from my pen onto the paper in a matter of moments, and only when my friends tell me how much they loved it did I decide to publish it. I'm currently working on a Quenyan translation, which I shall add as another chapter when it is complete.
Sincerely,
Aiwiel Galadhwen
