I'm So Happy.
I'm so happy. I was on the plane wondering where to go first in New York. There was only about half an hour left of the plane riders. I could try and find Rachel and surprise her. I thought about it for a moment. Yes I would do that. I decided since I'm not allowed to text on the plane, I would take a quick power nap till we get there.
When I woke up, the plane just landed and everyone was getting up to get their stuff, luckily I only had a carry on of some of my clothes, and my dad would send me the rest when I got a place. I decided to text Rachel while I waited for it to be my turn to get out.
"Hey, what are you doing?" I texted her. She texted back about a minute or two later and said,
"In Central Park." Yes! Now I know where she is!
"That's cool; I'm on my way to the Lima Bean for work." I texted her back. Finally it was my turn to exit, I grabbed my carry on and left the plane, made my way to the car rental place, when I got in my car I found I had 4 new text messages. Two from Rachel, one from my dad, and one from Blaine. The ones from Rachel said,
"Kurt! :(" and "Stop texting me, and drive! You know what happened to Quinn!" I laughed at how she was so worried, she always thought the accident with Quinn was her fault! How wrong she was! Next I checked my dad's. That one said,
"How was your flight? You're not dead right?!" I replied saying,
"No, I'm not dead dad!" And then Blaine's text said,
"Miss you already! Hope you have fun with Rachel in NY! Love you :)" I smiled. I love Blaine so much! I replied to his saying that I missed him to, and I love him to!
After I checked all my texts, I started the rental black Range Rover. I drove to the far entrance of Central Park, and about 3 quarters of my way to the fountain I heard my phone ringing. I reached into my pocket, and checked the caller ID it was from Rachel, I immediately awnsered.
"Hello" I said into the phone. Instead of Rachel's voice I heard a sniffle.
"Rachel, are you okay?"
"Kurt... you're not driving are you?" Then I heard another sniffle. I was walking the whole time to the fountain, and now I could see that she was across the fountain with her back to me.
"No Rachel, I'm not driving. What's wrong? You sound sad!" I asked her.
"I lied, I'm not okay!" It sounded like she was crying in the background.
"I miss you, and I miss everything. "She was definitely crying.
"My dance teacher is a monster, and I can't even go in my dorm room, because my roommate is sleeping with the entire school!" She was really crying now.
"Maybe you should move out and find a new roommate!" I told her, hinting at what I was trying to tell her, but she didn't get it, all she said was
"Huh! Ya!" Now was my chance.
"Turn around." I told her.
I ended the conversation and waved my hand. She turned around looked at me, and looked like she was about to cry, well she already was crying, but more of a happy cry! We both ran to the left side of the fountain, and hugged. Then she put her hands on my shoulders and asked.
"Are you real?!" She probably didn't believe I was there it was such a shocker for her!
"Yes, I'm right here! "I told her. She looked even happier about that.
"Wait, so you never were driving to the Lima Bean? Or going to work?" She asked me.
"Yep, I was on a plane, and I only texted you when we landed. I only drove down here to Central Park. I thought I would surprise you."
The next line was kind of surprising, but everything about Rachel Berry was surprising sometimes.
She smiled really wide, giving me her 1000 Watt smile. She then said
"I love you Kurt Hummel!"
"I love you to Rachel Berry!"
I love my life so much! I'm so happy!
