Marlines Mom
"Daddy, who's my mommy?" Marline asked. "Marline, we've been..." Barret started. "No, that's a good question," Cloud interuppted. "I bet 900 gil that you don't know who her mom is....No even better I bet 900 gil you can't count all the girls you slept with." Everyone but Barret laughed. "Let my count them," Barret said, "One, two, three......Tifa What comes after three??" Barret asked stupidly. Once again everyone but Barret laughed. "I bet I'll 10,000 learn to count and find Marlines mom." Barret yelled raging out of the room.
"Um...lets see where do I start d@#%#*!" Barret said angrily. "How many times have we gone over this, ONE!!" Headmaster Cid said. "OK one, two ,three ........four six nine ten!" Barret said full of excitement. "One two three..." Cid started. "FIVE!" Barret said anxiously. "Noooo.....then three four....." Cid started again. "FIVE!" Barret said again. "Good lets count together....one two three four........ (many hours later).........one hundred" they both said happily.
"Hey guest what I can do!!!" Barret said, "One two three four........ (many hours later).... Hun'erd!" "ZZZZ.....zzzzzz...zzz..."(Everyone was asleep)
"Did you find mommy yet" Marline asked hopefully. "..................BYE............" Barret said.
"How many children did you have," Barret would ask every lady he could find, "What are there names?" One day he talked to a lady that had the kid, gave it to the father, and he named her Marline. The mom turned out to be Selphie. Barret won a bet earning 10,000 gil. Then Barret and Marline taught Selphie how to count to 100. And Cloud lost his money , moved into box in the slums, and became a bum.
