POV Percy
I was walking home after a near death experience with a hellhound after it decided to chase the taxi I was in. When I saw 7 people appear out of nowhere in weird clothing.Out of habit I grabbed riptide my trusty pen/sword and ran down the street to my family's apartment. When I entered the door my nose caught the smell of cigarettes and stale beer. When I enterted The living room/dump I was greeted by smelly Gabe. "Get me a beer"he called. "How about you get your big butt off the couch and get it yourself" I mumered. But like a good boy would do I got him a beer. "It's warm you idiot"smelly Gabe grunted "how about I teach you a lesson". "No thank you"I mumbled "I don't care if you don't want I'm going to give you one anyways" and with those words he grabbed his belt and started to whip me with it. When he wasn't satisfied with his work he swung his closed fist at my face and it bloody cracked my nose. I held back a groan so Gabe wouldn't think I'm weak. When I didn't do anything he grabbed a kitchen knife and slid the sharp part down my arm it felt as if a dozen needles covered in poison pricked me there. When I couldn't hold back a groan any more I fled to my room/closet and sat down against the wall. Now you may be thinking why is the son of poisidoen two times Savior of Olympus doing here being abused by his horrible stepfather. During the Giants war all of the seven besides me died.
Flash back
We had just gotten back from Greece and already had started fighting horde after horde of monsters when out of nowhere I horde of hellhounds grabbed piper and started to shred her to bits until she was no more. Jason being the over emotional boyfriend he was charged into the misdst of the monsters and was killed. Frank was killed when his piece of fire wood fell out of its pouch and was set to flames before his eyes then he just collapsed and turned to dust. When Hazel was weeping for Frank a monster stabbed her in the heart causing her to die. Then Leo died by destroying Geae with a big explosion and a fall to the earth but while he was flying up there a vial fell out of his pocket and broke on the ground going unnoticed. But before Leo could kill Geae she seized Annabeth and squished her to death before my very eyes. I felt empty and alone but all I saw was red. After the war I found out that Geae and her monsters killed my mom.
End of flashback
So to keep my promise with my mom I went to school to graduate even if it meant dealing with smelly Gabe. That's when the door rang and no wanting to be whipped later I went to awnser the door and in front of me was a super old man with twinkling blue eyes and six other people. He asked if I was Percy Jackson and when I said yes he said " I'm Dumbledore and I am here to talk about your grandfather who's name was Tom Riddle and how he was a wizard and how you are too.
