Carly was biting her lip. Now, anyone who knew Carly knew that she only did this when she was nervous. Here, standing in front of the iCarly camera, Carly braced herself for what she and Sam were about to do.

Sam had been her best friend since they were little, and Sam had pushed Carly down to get her sandwich. When Carly had retaliated, Sam had said, "You're all right." and they had immediately become the best of friends.

Now, standing here with her hand interlaced with Sam's, she knew that they were much much more than just friends. They were close, they were the closest. When Carly had come out to Sam, Sam had understood. In fact, she had more than understood, as Sam had told Carly the same thing.

"Sam..." Carly'd said.

"What is it, Cupcake?" Sam asked, taking Carly's hand.

"I'm...I'm a lesbian." Carly told her.

Sam simply stared, processing this information. When she snapped back to reality, Sam grinned. "Really?" Sam asked.

"You shocked?"

"Well...yeah, but...it's just because you've had so many boyfriends, I assumed..."

"They were all cover-ups. I was trying to hide what I really felt. I...I like you, Sam."

"Well...good. Because I'm bisexual. And I think I might just love you too." Sam said, kissing Carly full on the mouth.

It was everything that Carly had ever dreamed of and more. Here she was, sitting on her couch, making out with her best friend of all time. This girl, this beautiful, wonderful, meat loving girl wiggling underneath her, made her head spin.

Oh. MY. GOD. I'm kissing Sam. Carly thought.

And Oh, did it feel so RIGHT.

So here they were now, standing in front of the camera, about to come out to everyone. Freddie didn't even know yet. He was standing there, getting his tech equipment ready.

Carly whispered to Sam. "You know...a lot of people are going to hate us." Carly said.

"I know."

"They won't understand."

"I know that too."

"And...you're okay with that?"

Sam looked at Carly. Brown eyes met blue, and she grabbed the girl's hand.

"Sure am."

Freddie started to count down.

In five, four, three, two..." he pointed.

"Hello, people of the world! I'm Carly!" Carly said.

"And I'm Sam!"

"And this is iCarly!" They both yelled together.

"Before we start the show, Sam and I have...an announcement. Sam?" Carly said.

Freddie looked confused, but panned to Sam.

"I...am in love."

"It's true...and so am I" Carly said, standing next to Sam and grabbing her hand.

"We're dating!" They held up their intertwined hands.

Then, to prove it, they kissed full on the mouth.

"Well...that's out news. ON WITH THE SHOW!"

And so iCarly went on that day as normal.

Freddie was shocked, but supportive of the girls. So was Spencer.

After the show, they read some of the comments. A lot of them weren't nice.

Carly looked troubled and sat down on the couch.

"We're going to be hated so much."

Sam sat down next to her and grabbed her hand. "You were worth it." she said, kissing her.

Carly smiled and leaned her head on Sam's shoulder.

"So were you."
