"Hey, what's that?" Eileen asked after a couple of months to her roommate Mabel. She'd been wondering about why on EARTH Mabel had a creepy Barbie doll missing half of its hair on her dresser. She thought that overall Mabel seemed sweet, plus based on what she'd been told she had the world's best brother, but she wasn't absolutely certain that the girl wasn't a nut yet.

Eileen was somewhat jealous, having three older sisters, Tiffany, Jacy, and Marlan, and a younger sister Regina, who all loved to torment her for unknown various reasons.

"Oh, that? That was one of my dolls from when I was a kid." Mabel said, never looking up from her drawing. She was talented. She'd taken AP Art as a sophomore, Eileen believed, and had taken online courses to improve her skills afterwards.

"Why'd you bring it?" she asked. Mabel shrugged, pulling her ponytail a bit.

"I don't know. It was an inside joke with my brother a few months ago. I thought I brought another one." she said.

"You were going to bring two?" Eileen asked.

"No, there were only two dolls and I thought I put the other one in my suitcase. No big deal." Mabel said. The doll was sitting on her dresser between a piggy bank and a scarf that had been thrown there a while ago.

"Oh." Eileen replied.

"Oh, dude, what the #%^ is this?" Dipper heard. He looked up from his Calculus work and groaned. His roommate was holding a Barbie doll.

"That's my sister's." he said. "I meant to mail it to her after a while."

"I didn't know you had a little sister." Greg said, tossing him the doll. Dipper was smacked in the face with its head.

"I don't." Dipper replied.

Greg shook his head. "Come on, man, please don't tell me it's yours."

"It's not. I have a twin sister." Dipper insisted.

"Yeah, sure. I'm going to bed." Greg said, pulling down the covers and turning out the light.

Dipper took his flashlight off of his dresser and hid under his covers, trying to comprehend how a human being is supposed to solve a problem like the one he was faced with.

He saw a small face looking at him from under the covers. It was honestly a bit creepy but he wasn't going to scream. Especially not after Mabel made him watch that terrifying movie the day before they left for college.

Mabel. He missed her. He missed coming home and having someone he could talk to about anything, and who wouldn't be too judgmental.

He wished she was here with him.

The face looked at him again. He picked up the doll and sat it on his lap while he tried to figure out the nonsense on the paper.

He had lied earlier. He wasn't going to send it back.
