Dear Robin,

Christmas time, is a time when we all come together. We light our fires, seeing the little sparks that the embers emit pop like fireworks, followed by the calming crackle. Peeking over the tip of our Christmas themed mugs, smelling the chocolatey aroma they emit, then to see the marshmallows bob up and down as you slowly swirl the mug around, wanting to coat each little puff of sweetness in a delectable substance. Cuddling with our families as we finally see each other, after a year's waiting. Sometimes, meeting our loved ones under the mistletoe, other times meeting the ones we don't love under the mistletoe. The sight of snow, gently gliding down to the Earth, sparkling as it falls, for the moon's shine just reflects off the surface of each snowflake. We live lives of fighting, anger, sadness, pleasure, excitement, and so much more. But sometimes, it's just a wonderful thing to settle down for Christmas, with your friends and family, and sing songs of joy and beauty. We spend our days fighting, constantly, as we are Smashers living in a world that's thirsty for power.

We begin to argue. It's settled with a fight.

We kid with each other and being playing around. It's settled with a fight.

We like someone, but someone else likes him/her also. It's settled with a fight!

For 11 months and 30 days, every year we constantly fight each other, like as if we don't know how to do anything else. Every time we fight, I feel as though, we're growing more and more distant. So, on this special day, where the sky's just that much brighter, the fire is that much more vibrant, and when our hearts grow just that much bigger, we can all learn, how to grow that much closer.

When this day comes, but once a year, I get to say my favorite 5 worded phrase:

MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

~With Love, from your Christmas ecstatic friend, Lucina

P.S. Remember to open my gift first! It's the rectangular box, with white ribbon wrapped all around it.

P.P.S. I wrote to you, because well, you're such a square! Also, Christmas is a beautiful time, and you maybe smart, and all that crap, but you've always seemed oblivious to any holiday or event that has a deeper, connotative meaning behind it. I felt it necessary to show you the beauty of this wonderful holiday, in the eyes of someone, not as oblivious.
