Authors Note: This is also my third Transformers fanfic.
Pairing is from Generation One: Beachcomber/Optimus Prime/saved
Disclaimer: I don't own any recognizable Transformers characters, only the idea for this.
He watched and knew that what he had to do now. He leapt out from his hiding place and ignored the calls of his comrades as he ran from them towards his ultimate destination. He ignored the hits of the enemies' weapon fire that hit and struck his frame as he ran to reach his destination.
His destination was Optimus Prime and Megatron fighting each other.
He had never an interest in warfare and the rest of the Autobots had looked down on him for what he had chosen to do. To him, he knew that his pacific ways bothered the other mechs around him along with his commanding officers but he knew that he was a tedious thing and felt that every single mech should live in peace and harmony not fighting each other in a long and drawn out war.
If he was honest with himself, he would have left the Autobots and the war behind a long time ago, but he hadn't done so because he knew that the war needed to end for good.
But that was not the reason why he was now running towards the two faction leaders.
No it was because he had seen the Decepticon Starscream preparing to take a shot at Prime's back.
Even though he was a pacifist he knew that he too should be protecting the Autobot leader too.
And thats what he was going to do even if it mean giving up his own life to do it and protect Prime.
As he neared the two fighters, he took little thought onto his past life and what he had done in the past as he leaped in front of the shot that was meant for taking the life of the Autobot leader.
Distantly he heard Megatron's cry of anger and retreat as he felt the shot go clean through his front and back armor and he fell into blissful welcoming darkness.
He did not see or hear the chaos that happened nor did he feel Optimus Prime catch his injured body.
He only felt the darkness around him.

A/N: This one was kind of hard to do because it was nearly impossible for me to figure out how do to this from Beachcomber's point of point of view. But I managed to do it! Lol
