Yeah I know. I don't own anything. Except the plot. And the water bottle next to me.

Second Pure Horace Mantis Challenge. Challenge 2: What If...

What if Kevin had offered to give Macy singing lessons at the end of "Chasing the Dream"?

"How about I go and apologize to Macy for you guys," Stella had suggested after hearing about her best friend being miserable. After seeing Macy overhearing what they said about her singing to Malcolm Meckle, she was down in the dumps.

"No I should do it," Kevin instisted, "It is a little bit of my fault."

"A little," Joe questioned.

"Fine, partly."

"Partly?"

"Okay most!"

"Mostly?"

"Let it go Joe," Nick advised. He put his arm on Kevin's shoulder and said, "Good luck bro. You need it."

Kevin smiled. "Thanks for the support Nick."

"No Kev, she has a javelin in her possession."

Everybody turned their heads in time to see Macy slumping across the hall dragging her javelin She paused, sighed sadly, and made her way to her locker.

"See you after school then," Joe said, then left with the rest of the group. Kevin turned around and started walking towards Macy's locker.

'What am I even going to say after what happened yesterday,' he thought, 'She must hate us right now. Nah.' He turned the corner and found Macy grabbing some books.

'Here it goes. You can do this Kevin.' He walked up to her, her eyes giving him a very sad puppy dog look.

"Hey Macy, look I'm sorry you had to over hear us taking about your singing," Kevin started, putting down her javelin just in case.

"We didn't mean for you to actually hear that. It's just that Nick thought 'Malcolm Meckle mustn't meet Macy Misa', and his plan failed. So we're sorry. We wouldn't blame you if you never ever wanted to talk to us ever again. Or even hang with us." Kevin finished up and took a deep breath. Macy just stood there, looking a little clueless and then....

"Oh my gosh! Kevin of JONAS is apologizing to me," she squealed, "Oh, I feel bad that you feel bad for me-"

"No, Macy don't. It's okay. How about we stop feeling bad for each other and let me offer you something," Kevin suggested, quickly removing his hand from his locker just in case.

"Sure," Macy smiled, "What is it?"

"How about Joe, Nick, and I give you singing lessons," he offered.

Her answer to that was hug-attacking him in the hallway. Just when Stella happened to come up.

"Hey guys," she greeted, "Macy, why are you and Kevin on the floor? Even though this clearly shows you forgive them."

"....This is not what it looks like Stella."

Haha I know. Crapped up ending. R&R and thanks for reading!
