I Don't Own Nothing!
Numb part 1-----The Request.
It was your average summer. Prongs was up at his cabin in the mountains, Moony was on his farm with his family doing some sort of labour and I was stuck at home with my Pro-V family. Little did I know over the next few hours my life would change forever.
I should have known something was up when there was a sudden family gathering and my uncle Claudius, aunt Gemini and my two cousins Bellatrix and Nacissa showed up.
I was alone in my room, quietly listening alone to my radio. My father's voice rang up from the downstairs of the house.
"Sirius! Get your ass down here! Family meeting"
"Great, just faaaannnntastic" I muttered. As I walked down the stairs I heard my mom and aunt's voices talking in the den.
"You're kidding! The Dark Lord said that!? That's insane! He'll never accept."
"His food and shelter depend on it.He has to"
I ignored what I heard and made my way into the hall and met Narcissa and Bellatrix. I like Narcissa way better than Bellatrix, she's way nicer, plus she has a thing for Remus.
"Hey 'Cissa," I said " How's it going?" Narcissa smiled while Bella remained aloof.
"Hi Sirius! I'm good. Hey next time you see Remus-" Bella inturuppted her.
"Shutup you two. The Family's expecting us" she said.
We went into the den to find my mother standing in the center of the room while all others sat.
"Ah, good, you've come. Sirius, Narcissa we've requested you join the raid tonight."
"WHAT!"
A raid! A Death Eater raid!? Why would my mom ask Cissa and I to do something like that? She knows I'm highly opposed to anything like that. Cissa might have to though, she's stuck in an arranged marrige to Luscius and what a man says in this branch of wizarding culture goes.
"No," said Narcissa "No. No, I couldn't possibly-"
"Narcissa..." chastized Luscius.
"Okay" muttered Narcissa looking at the floor.
"Well I for one will not do the bidding of a monster!" I shouted as I ran up the stairs.
A while later my mother came up to my room. "Sirius?" she asked in what almost sounded like a loving tone.
"What" I snapped.
" I just wish you would do this, for me, for your mother...I know I've never seemed proud of you but I am, and this would only make me prouder"
Ooh, she hit a soft spot. She and I both knew that I secretly craved for the motherly love she gave Regelus every morning right in front of me. I felt my inner, love-desperate child inside of me pulling the strings "Mommy! It cried "I want my mommy!" I then heard the crushing word escape my lips.
"Fine"
"That's my boy, he're your robes." she smiled a warm, motherly smile at me that I hadn't seen in years. She put a hand on my shoulder. "Meet in the front hall in two hours, I'm so happy"
Two hours later I was fully robed except for my mask, with my hair in a ponytail for once.
"What am I doing? This isn't right" I asked myself aloud." But...Mommy..., I have a terrible feeling about this".
I went downstairs to find Bellatrix in front of me.
"How're we getting there?"
"Apparating."
"But apparating's"
"Just do it illegaly you moron"
We apparated in front of what looked like an old farm house. A ways away from it was an old barn. We stood together and went over plans. Too bad we didn't see the warning sign in the form of an old mailbox on which the name read 'Lupin'.
"Take the barn Sirius."said Bella "Slaughter anything that moves"
When I went into the barn I looked around.
"Why does this place seem so familliar" I wondered.
My confirmation was a deep viscious growl combing from the yellow-eyed beast that was watching me attentively from the rafters. The bad news was, I heard it too late.
