A/N: just fluff, but I like it. This has been bouncing around in my head for a while and I finally am putting it up. Enjoy!

"I can't believe you're here," she whispered as she trailed kisses up my chest.

"Believe it; I'm not going anywhere," I replied and leant down to place a soft kiss in her hair.

I couldn't believe this. I showed up t her dorm, begging her to go with me, not my proudest moment by the way. She broke my heart each and every time she said no but I couldn't give up, not again.

Finally at a loss I pulled her to me and kissed her. Poured everything I couldn't say into that kiss, all the sorrow for leaving and all the love I felt.

And she kissed me back. She fucking kissed me back

She said she had been waiting for me and then it kinda went on from there.

Rory spoke, bringing me back to the present

"Every time I close my eyes I think that when I open them you're not going to be here and this was all a dream," she whispers.

No. No, no, no, no.

"No. Not this time. I will never leave again unless you send me out for coffee," I whispered into her ear.

"Promise?" she whispers, lifting herself to loom at me.

"Promise," I say and lean forward to kiss her nose.

We fell into a comfortable silence after that. Her tracing circles on my shoulder and my running my fingers through her hair.

"We should have a song," she blurts out several minutes later.

"We have a song," I replied easily.

"You remember that?" she asked, a little surprised

You have no idea how much I remember

"Course, Guns of Brixton' will always be our song,"

"True, but I want another song. One for when we were…taking a break, yea, taking a break, and one for now that we're back from our…break,"

She was so funny and so weird and she didn't even know it. That was part of why I loved her.

"Okay,"

She fell into silence as she thought.

After a moment two songs popped into my head.

"'Better Than Me' and for when we were apart and 'Walk Through Hell' for right now,"

Rory blinked surprised at me.

"That's really good," she said.

"So it's decided?"

"Yep," she said happily.

"I love you," she whispered a moment later as I traced curly-ques up and down her arm.

"I'd walk through hell for you," I whispered back and as she drifted off to sleep I felt her smile into my chest.
