Just a one shot I wrote a long time ago. Please review:D

The magical outburst had killed him. Ironic really that his downfall was he himself. Harry Potter was lying on his bed at the infirmary. When he had called upon his magic to kill Voldemort, his magic had depleted to almost zero leaving him lying on his deathbed.

These were Draco's thoughts when he looked down on the dying body of his lover.

"Harry…" he whispered running a hand through Harry's hair.

Green eyes opened and looked through him. Green meets grey. Green with peace, acceptance and love. Grey with resignation, pain and most important of all, love.

"I'm sorry Dray." Harry said smiling his eyes full of love.

"It's not your fault, Harry. You did it though, you finally killed him. At least you'll di—at least you can go in peace now."

"I'll never be at peace without you Dray. I'll wait for you. But hopefully I won't be seeing you in a long time. Promise me. Promise me you'll try to be happy once I'm gone."

Draco closed his eyes. God it was so hard to say goodbye.

"I'll try, Love. Harry, I love you." Draco whispered.

"I love you too, angel. More than life itself." Harry said.

Harry raised his hands and brought them to Draco's neck. Slowly, he lowered Draco's head down until their lips were touching.

Most of their kisses were intense and passionate. This time, the kiss was slow and filled with love. When they stop for a breath, Harry whispered, "Remember your promise Dray. I love you, so much."

With that last words Harry closed his eyes and his hands became limp.

"Harry. No… I love you too. So much" Draco said weakly.

The next day, a funeral was held for Harry at Godrics Hollow. Harry had wanted to be buried with his parents and Draco was determined to make Harry's wish come through.

Draco looked at his lover lying in the coffin. There was no wrinkles that was always present on his forehead when he was alive. Harry looked at peace.

Feeling more peaceful now, Draco put his hands out of his pockets and closed the coffin gently.

"I hope you're happy up there, love…" Draco said softly.
