A/N: Fluffy. So fluffy. Like Slade is cuddly fluffy. I guess this makes up for Deadly Heroes? Don't be suspicious, just enjoy the PWP (without any smut) (whoops).

"What are you doing?" Robin asked his lover. They'd been fucking for a few weeks and dating for a few more, and despite what the man did for a living, Robin had been surprised to find that the man was more than a little bit gentle and tender, outside of when they sparred together, that is. So when Robin suggested that they head to Jump City's park and bring a small picnic lunch, Slade had agreed.

The teen packed a classic lunch of sandwiches, fruit salad, sun tea, potato salad, and a peach pie that Star insisted on making for the pair. He also grabbed a thick, fluffy blanket to spread underneath them.

The two met in a more secluded part of the park, Robin spreading out the blanket and Slade peering in the wicker basket, smirking at the contents.

"Strawberries and chocolate, Robin?"

"Well, you know," the teen blushed a little, then defended himself. "It's a classic!"

The two sat down, enjoying the treats kept cold and crisp by multiple ice packs that the teen had thoughtfully packed among the food. When they got to the chocolate and strawberries, they fed the fruit to each other, licking strawberry juice and chocolate off each other's fingers and lips.

After they were done eating, the two leaned back against the thick blanket, casually talking.

"Turn around," Slade said, smirking at the teen, who was now frowning suspiciously.

"Why?"

Slade swirled a finger in a vague circle and offered no other explanation, smiling when the teen raised an eyebrow but did as asked. He let out a small sigh as he felt the mercenary's hands comb through his hair, the dark tresses getting long and curling well past his collar.

The mercenary began rearranging his hair vaguely, pulling and twisting that had the hero sighing deeply and relaxing into the touches on his sensitive scalp. The two stayed that way for close to thirty minutes, the man stopping occasionally to do something (Robin didn't know, his eyes were closed in bliss), only to resume shortly afterwards. With one last quick hair ruffle, Slade pulled his hands away, letting Robin explore the new terrain of his hair. He touched one strand delicately, a happy, surprised expression on his face when he noted the braid he found there. He continued to prod and felt something soft twined in with the feathery hair. One glance at the blanket around Slade confirmed it that the soft points in the braid were small wildflowers that grew in the clearing, the rejects laying in a tiny pile by the man's feet. Robin continued to feel downwards, touching the end carefully. The braid was held together by a long strand of grass tied together, a feat impossible for anyone besides Slade to accomplish.

"Careful now," Slade cautioned, and suddenly had his arms full of teenager, kissing his face excitedly, dragging him down onto the soft blanket with him, full of nothing but love.

A/N: So halfway through I kind of went "I can kill them here it would be so easy!" but I decided not to because I promised myself that I would write something fluffy… BUT if you want to read the alternate ending, I'd be willing to post it, as long as someone requests it! Hope you enjoyed.
