HEY, Guys I Know that I should be dealing with my other fic,
but what can i do this idea just popped into my mind and i just can't ignore it!
Anyways just ignore it and plzz tell me how was it?
It has been some what 10 yrs, since he last met Harley (the kid from iron man 3).
But what so ever he never forgot about the boy and never stopped caring...
Today he has to attend some stupid science convention to encourage science among children and what better way then iron man tell 'em.
"Tony, come on at least think that you are many children's role model. Please try to be punctual today" Pepper said entering the lab.
"Pepper why did I make you the CEO. Now don't you have to attend all this stupid meetings?"
"Tony ..." Pepper started but was cut off by Tony
"You know I hate to be social and science convention, seriously?" Tony offered.
"TONY listen we have to go to the Tennessee science convention" this caught Tony's attention.
"Really ,Pep its been what almost 10 years?" He asked excitedly.
"Yeah, Tony 10 years and I know how much you have wanted to see him. So I arranged it" Pepper said with a smile and rushed him out of the lab to get ready.
AT THE CONVENTION:
Tony entered the convention and searched for just one face all over. As he found it he became over excited. He smiled with zeal and tried very hard to cover it.
He started watching the science projects one by one but somehow all his attention was diverted only and only to one table.
He goes and then comes face to face with a young mechanical engineer.
"Hey, so what have you got for me,smarty pants?" (smarty pants) seriously what was he thinking?
"Heya" said the young fella in front of him.
The young man was smiling like an idiot which Tony himself was trying very hard not to do.
"Come on now get the show going" Tony said trying to get his act up.
" Okay, so I'm Harley Keener. Tony I don't suppose you remember me but we shared an adventure 10 yrs ago." Harley said
"What are you saying kid" Tony acted with patience.
"You changed my life. I hope you don't mind but after that night I have thought of you as the closest thing I've ever had to a father and also worshiped you as my idol." said Harley with unspoken compassion in his eyes.
Tony smiles and says "You're trying to guilt trip me. And hello everyone thinks of meas their idol."
Tony added " Now everyone also tries to be my son but closest thing to a father is a new one . I have to give you credit for that." while the only thing he wanted to do was hug the boy to his chest and tell him that he also thought of him as his son.
The young man smiles "It was worth a try."
