Dear lord! Here I am about to start writing a new story when I haven't even finished the other ones! Gah! I can't help it, my imagination runs to wild. Anyways, I will take my time with this one though just because it is my current favorite anime of all times, so I want it to be PERFECT. This will have adventures, and romance between different characters but it is obvious who will be my main ship... NALU duh! Also, this story will start from the manga chapter 419! If you haven't read that far THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. I repeat THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. I will rate this T for right now, it will have cursing and violence and some sexual content just not LEMON yet... All really depends on how the story develops or if viewers will wish for it. Now disclaimers! *drum rolls*

Natsu, Happy, and Lucy: AYE SIR!

It had been rough running away from the palace soldiers; Natsu, Lucy, and Happy were now walking determined to once again reunite Fairy Tail, but things had change alright... Even though they had been in a rush running and all, Natsu still currently held Lucy's tiny hand tight within his rough callused hands. Happy flying above them smiled wide, Lucy had a tiny blush tainting her usual pale complexion, while Natsu walked straight ahead, dense as ever.
Lucy was short for words, to many emotions hitting her all at once. She was thrilled to be back on the road, excited for new adventures, wanting to see everyone warmed her heart, but her current situation really had her on a fritz. She looked down to her hand, the one that Natsu hadn't let go since they started running. Of course, she did asked him why was he holding her hand, but instead of answering her, his grip on her hand just got tighter, his face holding an expression she never saw him wear.
"Umm, Natsu? Can we rest a bit? I don't think my legs can keep up anymore..." She whispered, her exhaustion taking the best of her. At her voice and command, Natsu stopped and stared at her. His eyes traveled from her flushed face, to her wobbly hips and legs. He smiled, shyly letting go of her hand scratching the back of his neck. Lucy pouted, suddenly her hand felt extremely cold.
"Sorry, Luce! We can camp out here, I hear a river near by," the dragon slayer smiled. Happy flew down to their level, "Aye! We can fish!" he flew in circles with thrilled excitement. Lucy giggled, she really had missed them so much. Happy let himself down on Lucy's warm hold as she held him tight to her chest. Natsu smiled at the scene 'She looks better when she smiles...' his eyes widen at his own thoughts, his brows crunched up wrinkling his forehead. Lucy took noticed of this, "Are you okay, Natsu?"
"Aye! You look kinda constipated" Happy exclaimed, Lucy snorted 'I'll leave it to Happy to answer with something like that,' Natsu frowned and shook his head "I'm fine, I guess I'm just tired myself" both Lucy and Happy shrugged, they started gathering wood for their fire, while Natsu cleaned a good area near the river so they could put their sleeping bags on a smooth surface. He gathered the wood that was collected, lightning his finger he send the small flame to set the wood on fire. After setting up camp, the three of them sat to fish... "I think I got one!" Lucy yelled smiling wide, the string on her fish pole pulling with great strength.
"Come on! Pull it up it might be a big one!" Happy cheered for his comrade. "Luce, don't let go!" Natsu screamed, holding her by the waist with one strong arm, while the other helped her pull the pole. "Almost.. There!" Lucy responded, with so much force, the gigantic fish flipped out of water, making Lucy shriek as it came down on her, on reflex she turned around completely forgetting about Natsu. Both stumbled to the ground, Natsu of course breaking the fall. "Ow... What the hell was that for Lucy" Natsu complained rubbing his sore back. Lucy sat on his lap, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I didn't want to get fish slapped okay? Besides, who told you to help me I could of done it alone," turning her head annoyed at her best friend. Natsu sighed, and then looked back at their position, Lucy wasn't heavy to him or anything, but he felt something heavy over his chest and his stomach flipping with excitement? 'It must be because I'm hungry' he thought.
"Ne, Lucy? I want to get up you know," he deadpanned. Lucy, blinked twice then as if she was caught on fire she jumped out of Natsu's lap as if he burned her. "Sorry!" she blushed.
"Stop flirting you two and lets eat! This fish it's hugeeeeee~" Happy shouted while he dragged the gigantic fish near the bonfire, Lucy's cheeks inflated "Who's flirting you damn cat!"
Their dinner was great, the fish tasted better than it looked. Happy fell asleep immediately, Lucy and Natsu stayed up, sitting at the edge of the river to speak, not wanting to wake Happy up. "I've been tracking as much I have been able to, but I still don't know everyone's exact locations. I can only speculate about their whereabouts," Lucy commented while looking through her notes. Natsu looked at her, his eyes seriously staring at her brown eyes. "What?"
"How long?" he asked, she was confused now "Eh? How long what?"
"How long have you been by yourself? Why didn't you leave with Erza, Levy, or even that stupid Ice freak?" Lucy's eyes widen, did he really just go there? She took another good look at his face, just to be met with his serious onyx eyes, yep that idiot went there. Something inside her snapped, her hand clutched into a tight first, turning her knuckles white. She stared at him, Natsu flinched under her glare. Shit, she's pissed, her usually warm brown eyes were now burning with anger.
"You ask why? Are you fucking with me, Natsu?!" she yelled whispered, trying not to wake the blue feline. Natsu gulped, his Adams apple bouncing up and down in his dried throat. "You want to know why? Well?!" she grabbed his scarf, bringing his face closer to hers with a strength neither one of them knew she possessed, all he could do was nod. She doesn't know if it was from anger, or from remembering her lonely days for the past year, but tears started to run down her face. "Because I was waiting for you, you dumbass!" she yelled loud this time, not caring if Happy woke up.
Natsu's eyes widen, seeing her cry made him frown and his mouth felt bitter. Natsu knew that Lucy meant a lot to him, she has been there with him ever since he found her and brought her to Fairy Tail. He at first thought, she was annoying and really weird but as he grew to know her, he got to love her weirdness. He knew how strong, and how strange she was, which made him want to protect her and take care of her more. Specially since he knew she was alone in this world, just like him. He didn't mean to leave her alone for a year, he needed to get stronger to protect his nakama, to protect her. His hand darted to her face, whipping her tears from her now rosy cheeks. But for some reason more tears kept falling, he was panicking, he wanted those beautiful eyes to smile, to stop crying...
He grabbed her by her waist, making her sit on his lap. He cupped her small face on his large hard palms, slowly acting on pure instinct he kissed her eyes gently. "Luce, please don't cry... I don't like it" Lucy gasped and trembled under his hold, she still was holding into his scarf. "I'm sorry... I wanted to become stronger to protect my friends, to protect you. I never thought Fairy Tail would disband..." he caressed the soft skin of her face, and he decided he loved the way her fair skin felt under his touch, he wanted to touch more but reading the situation he burned away that sensation. Lucy hid on his scarf, sobbing "I'm sorry Natsu, y-you asked m-me to keep F-fairy Tail together and take care of everyone a-and I failed..."
He smiled softly, just how selfless can this girl get. He grabbed her chin with his fingers, tilting her head so that he could look straight into her eyes, but he frown once again looking at her, her eyes were puffy from crying, her cheeks flushed, and she was trembling. "Lucy.. It isn't your fault, okay? Stupid Gramps should have never disbanded the guild! And I should have known better not to leave you alone, I'm sorry Luce. You can 'Lucy kick' me all you want!" Lucy giggled, this guy doesn't change a bit huh. Strange, just a few words of comfort from Natsu made her feel better, of course she was angry at him, but she understood his reasons for leaving. He must have suffered so much, Lucy eyes soften and touched his cheek. Natsu flinched at the sudden warmth on his face, Lucy noticed this.
"Don't worry, I won't hit you... Yet" she smiled at him, ever so slowly she leaned into him, softly but firmly she kissed his cheek. Natsu felt everything in slow motion, it was as if time stopped right there. His heart fluttered, a feeling that was foreign to him. Lucy was different to him now, her scent drugged him, he felt calm every time that sweet vanilla floral scent invaded his being, it was all Lucy. 'You want her' something inside him told him, his hand itched to touch her, but he knew if he did, it would ruin the moment and he would get beat up into a pulp, he wasn't that stupid.
Lucy looked up to his eyes, smiling wide and happy, he couldn't help the blush he knew was on his face. "Thank you, Natsu. I have been lonely since I can remember, but ever since we met I actually felt happy, with Fairy Tail, with Happy and you..." he gulped "So... If you and Happy decide to leave me behind again, will kick you both to another planet you heard me!" she jabbed her slender finger hard on his chest, glaring at him. He grinned, 'That's my Luce!' "Don't worry, I won't I promise" Lucy smiled. Someone hummed from behind them, "Well, if you are both done being loud and mushy, can I get some sleep?!" Happy demanded, making both mages blush.
Natsu pulled Lucy up with him, she shriek like usual. Without the slightest effort, he held her bridal style walking towards their sleeping bags. "W-what are you doing?!" A blushing Lucy yelled, Natsu looked at her as if she was dumb. "Taking you to bed?" he answered nonchalant.
Not caring about the squirming blonde, he gently laid her down, and he followed after her, wrapping her in his hold. "It gets really cold during nights now, since the seasons are changing and all. I'll keep you warm okay Luce!" he grinned innocently, her face was just as pink as his hair. Happy snuggled on top of their heads, sticking his nose on Lucy's head "I really missed this Lushi~ You smell way better than Natsu..." "Hey!-" and so he trailed off into sleep, not paying attention to Natsu's complain. Lucy giggled, and softly rubbed Happy's fur between his ears as he purred contentedly.
Natsu held her tight too, also taking in her scent. "I missed this too Luce... Goodnight" he smiled and closed his eyes right after, snoring. Lucy's heart jammed inside her chest. She sighed, smiling she struck Natsu's cheek gently, closing her eyes, also drifting to sleep. "I missed this too"

The sun creeping through the site of their camp, Lucy slowly opened her eyes. She felt really warm, and very comfortable. She wondered how was it possible, when she was sleeping on the hard ground. Her eyes traveled to the tight feeling around her abdomen, she also felt something pressed between her breasts. Natsu's strong arms, held her tight around the waist, but that wasn't all his face somehow managed to stick between her breasts. Lucy's eyes widen, she was frozen still, until Natsu cuddled his faced further, sighing happily while a huge smile was spread on his face, "Lucy..." at the sound of her name coming from his lips, she shook with both embarrassment, and anger.
"NATSU YOU PERVERT! Lucy kick!" Natsu didn't have time to react as he flew across the filed, and landed face first to the ground. Lucy breathed heavily, blushing madly, her face would put Erza's hair to shame. Natsu sit up, rubbing his face, Lucy blushed even redder if that was possible, the guy was shirtless! All of his mighty muscles flexing, as he stretched his aching body, damn he did worked out over the past year! His was even ripper than before. He turned, and glanced at Lucy with a big pout. "What the hell you did that for Lucy! I was having a good sleep!" sweet Mavis! Lucy felt like heart heart would burst through her ribs any moment now.
"You idiot! You were rubbing your face between my breasts! Pervert!" Natsu gawked at her, eyes wide, then he turned his face dejectedly feeling awkward himself. "I didn't do anything!" Lucy's eyebrow twitched, "Why you liar! Urgh! I'm going to bathe in the river, and don't you dare look!" she grabbed her things and stomped to the river, into a secluded area. Happy on the other hand, was sitting enjoying the current events while munching on a fish he caught early for himself. "Oho, kids nowadays are rather bold" he giggled. Natsu glared at his long time friend and then he sighed, still rubbing his sore nose.
Lucy huffed and puffed while she got into the little pond she found near the river. "I can't believe him," she complained to herself blushing. She couldn't help but feel warm, then suddenly she heard steps. "Natsu... I swear if you get any closer I will kick you extra hard you know where this time!" she warned while looking back. Her eyes widen when she saw a stranger smirking at her, what on earthland is a creep doing here!, "W-who are y-you!"
"Aw, don't be frighten little kitten. I just couldn't help but be mesmerized by your looks," the guy purred disgustingly, while taking a good look at her. She shook, she left her keys near her clothes. The creep got into the water, swimming towards her, she backed away until her back touched a rock. "Stay away! I warn you!" she yelled at him with confidence, but he only smirked wider. Said man was inches away from her, not wanting to go without a fight she clenched her fist. His hand stretched to touch her when a huge roar was heard from above "LUCYYYYY!"
Both Lucy and the bandit looked up, Natsu jumped from a branch and landed a punch on the creeper's face sending him flying to the other side, out of Lucy's reach. Natsu was furious, his now green dragon like eyes sharp, and his fangs completely exposed. Cracking his knuckles, he glared ahead where the bandit got up to his feet coughing blood. "You fucking bastard, what the hell do you think you are doing?!" his body caught on flames, making the water boil but for some reason the boiling water, the man started crying in agony, but said water didn't reach Lucy's way. Her eyes widen, tears beginning to creep at the corner of her brown eyes.
"Lushiiii~ Are you hurt?!" Happy flew towards her, but the celestial mage was shaking so much that she couldn't answer to the worried exceed. Suddenly something wrapped around her shoulders, taking a glance she saw Natsu's black one sleeved jacket. She looked up at his eyes, his green eyes shinning with both concerned and anger, "Happy, take Lucy out of here" Natsu commanded without taking his eyes off her, he quickly ran his thumbs to wipe her tears and turned towards the direction of the son of a bitch that tried to touch his Lucy. Happy grabbed Lucy as soon as she had tied Natsu's jacket on her securely, and flew out of the scene.
"Now tell me, what the fuck were you trying to do to MY mate," Natsu turned towards the man who was shaking with fear. And so he launched at him, fist inflamed with the most blazing of fires.
Happy took Lucy back to their camp, Lucy was still shaken so he wrapped a blanket around her. "Sorry, Lucy.. I should have gone with you.." Happy patted her head, Lucy smiled softly, "It's okay Happy, it isn't your fault I shouldn't have gone far from the camp.."
"Good thing Natsu has super hearing! He ran so fast, that even flying I had a hard time catching up with him," Happy exclaimed. Lucy's eyes brighten up 'He always ends up rescuing me, and I always end up kicking him for something..' not soon after, Natsu reached the camp with the man beat up into a bloody pulp. He tied him securely to a tree, as tight as he could. He wanted to kill the man, but stopped himself, thinking it would be best to just dropped him in the next town to the authorities.
Natsu quickly made his way to Lucy, she blushed lightly seeing his bare chest again. He sat in front of her, "Did he do anything to you?" his voice was hard and restrained, Lucy shook her head "No, you made it in time, I was about to Lucy kick him..." Natsu let go of a breath he didn't know he was holding, and chuckled this girl always seemed to surprise him. He ruffled her hair gently, "Baka! He could of seriously hurt you. Don't leave far from me, no matter how upset you are. It's easier to protect you when you're closer," Lucy's heart jumped for the hundredth time since the dragon slayer returned, 'He's gonna kill me with his sweetness!'
"Thank you, and I'm sorry" she replied hugging him. Natsu blushed, then coughed while rubbing the back of his neck. "Um.. Well uh get ready, we'll drop him off next town, maybe he's worth some jewels," Lucy nodded and started changing Natsu's eyes widen like large plates, "Luce! Behind that bush! What if that freak wakes up and sees!" he pointed to a bush near them. Lucy looked at the almost dead man tied to the tree, then at Natsu who's face was as red as Erza's. She smirked, "I thought you didn't care about seeing me naked" she shrugged. Natsu's AND Happy's mouth fell to the ground, "I-it's not about me! Grrr! Just go change, BEHIND that bush!" he pointed sharply to the said bush. "Alright alright, I was just kidding, no peeking then," she stuck her tongue out to a very surprised Natsu.

Our favorite team walked towards the nearest town, Natsu dragging a still unconscious man on the dirt, bumping him into the rocky road on purpose. Lucy stared down at her map, "We are near Lamias Scale's town" she spoke out loud.
"Yeah? Hey perfect! Maybe I can pick a fight with that other Ice freak Lyon!" Natsu fist pumped in the air, Lucy shook her head. "Seriously? Is that all you care about? Anyways, Maybe one of our members is there or they might have heard about them don't you think?" she raised her eyebrows suggesting her plan.
"Aye! Maybe Charle is near! I miss her so much!" Happy jumped happily landing on Lucy's head, Lucy smiled. "Who knows maybe Happy is on the right track!"
"Alright! Lamia Scale it is!" Natsu exclaimed as the trio walked towards their new destination.
