Korra sighed as her gaze travelled the party she was at. Raiko could never leave her alone, and constantly invited her to unnecessary things. Korra had had enough of his nonsense, and searched for Asami but to no avail. She huffed irritably and had to navigate through all of the old people surrounding her. Finally, her eyes landed on Asami, who had decided to separate herself from the crowd of people. She sighed and gazed off, probably lost in thought. Korra smirked and walked up to her, wrapping her arms around her waist and pulling her close. Asami flinched in surprise but grinned at Korra, resting her head on Korra's. The chatter of people seemed to drown out as they stood together. Korra nuzzled her face into Asami's neck. Asami trailed her fingers over Korra's arms and chuckled.
"What's this all about?" she said, raising a brow at her girlfriend. Korra chuckled and squeezed Asami tighter, affection spurring deep within her.
"I can't hug my girlfriend?" she replied, and Asami smiled. She hummed lightly and Korra smirked again, lacing her fingers with Asami's. "Hey," she said with a low voice, "wanna get out of here and go cuddle?" Asami laughed and pulled away from Korra, their hands still laced.
"I'm sure Raiko wouldn't care if we disappeared." Korra grinned.
