My name is Nathen, and I have been an official resident of Daein for about 2 years now. I live with my oh so wonderful girlfriend and let me tell you. To think I'd be dating my childhood video game crush is a fucking blessing that I will not question. I'm not from Tellius. Nor am I from any of the other continents from the Fire Emblem games. I have been here for many years now and participated in two wars. The first is the Mad King War which was an...experience to say the least. I was also in the Daein revolution which was also an interesting experience.
"Honey?" My girlfriend called out.
I still have no clue how I ended up with her but its a miracle which once again I will not question. Besides, its one of the many...MANY miracles I have been blessed with. Now i'm not saying i'm a lucky guy because trust me, I am not, but I wouldn't have my blessed girlfriend without the hardships I faced throughout my time here in Tellius.
"Honey" my girlfriend repeated, this time with a little more irritation in her voice.
"Sorry I was, er, thinking again" I said hesitantly. "What do you need?"
"Where in Asheras name is my tome?" she replied as she walked into the bedroom throwing things left and right. She was obviously in a hurry but, what else was new?
"I thought I saw it on the kitchen table" I told.
"Oh, here it is" She said as she pulled it from under her pile of clothes. How god damn unorganized is this girl? I'd think I would know after being with her for a year now but I guess not. Besides, every woman has their quirk, right?
"Where are you off to?" I asked even though I really didn't care all that much.
"I'm going to teach some kids how to use light magic" She said as she smiled warmly at me.
"I love that smile" I thought out loud. She rolled her eyes and kissed me before walking off.
"Bye babe" I said before she left the room. She said something along the lines of "Bye hon" but I didn't completely catch it.
I stared over at my sword that was hanging on the wall, ah good ole memories of the war. I remember my whole life in this world as if it where yesterday.
-Line Break-
I awoke on the cold hard ground dazed and confused. I didn't know of my whereabouts but they seemed way too familiar. The first thing I noticed was that I was outside a castle on the ground and it had been raining at the moment. I peered at my legs and saw many cuts along them. I then looked to my arms and had realized there was a nasty gash along my bicep on my right arm. Great, two seconds awake and i'm already fucked up. Nothing new really. I'm used to being beat up at my school although nothing like this. I had just suspected that the night before I was beaten up by some bully.
"Get him" I heard someone shout, at this point I started shaking from instinct. I recognized this cue, It was what all the bullies would say after school before I got the shit beat out of me. To my surprise nothing had punched me or hurt me. I guess I was hearing thin-
OW FUCK. this wasn't any normal bully. this was a fucking soldier. I felt a spear impale me in my left leg and shrieked in pain.
"What the fuck!" I screamed in pain.
"Die Crimean bitch" the soldier shouted.
At that moment I felt the butt of the lance hit me in the cheek. OW, PAIIIN. I am not used to this kind of abuse and I was not gonna take it without a fight. I quickly rose to my feet and threw a punch at the guys face. It made contact but since he was wearing armor it didn't do shit. My hand was throbbing and I realized resistance was futile.
A/N: TELL ME IF THIS IS GOOD OR IF I SHOULD DO MORE...because I actually had fun with this xD… a lot of mystery and hopefully I didn't give away too much about who my end girlfriend is but please put ur thoughts in a review...i wanna see who u guys guess.
