A Devastating Mistake
This is my take on the sad ending with Serena in XY060 hope you enjoy and it'll be nice if you reviewed this
It was sunrise the day after the Coumarine City Pokemon Performance,Serena was standing at the docks of the city,quietly watching the sunrise while Fennekin and Pancham looked at her in silence.
The memory was still fresh in her mind:The moment where Fennekin tripped on the felt as if time slowed down at that very moment and she could hear sound of Fennekin hitting the ground,the crowd gasping in disbelief at what had happened,and the very silence of the of an unforgiving audience.
Tears started flowing down her cheeks,she couldn't hold her feelings after all this time and she just wanted to let it all out."I'm sorry Fennekin!"she screamed as she dropped onto to her knees and started crying her heart two Pokemon were shocked and sad as well and wanted to comfort their trainer."If I had cut the ribbon a little bit shorter,none of this would have happened!"she said to the Fox Pokemon while covering her eyes to hide her and Pancham were wailing and shouting to try and comfort Serena until they decided to jump onto Serena to get her back to her senses."I'm sorry guys.""I know that it's only our first Performance,but after all our hard training I never thought we would have at least done better."she said to her Pokemon while trying to keep a smile to reassure them.
Little did she know someone was watching her from afar,a raven haired trainer who saw the whole thing from the Pokemon Center."I'm sorry,Serena."Ash quietly said as he was still looking at Serena hugging her two Pokemon while on her wanted to just run up to Serena and give her a hug,he knew how she felt about losing a competition for the first still remembered the depression he had when he lost at the Indigo League back in Ash held himself back from comforting Serena,for he knew that she needed to handle this pulled his hat down and decided to head back into the Pokemon did he know that Serena had took something from a box in her bag and started running towards the edge of the docks.
Serena stroked her long hair one last time and took a deep breath while closing her eyes,remembering about her entire journey up until now as her old self."It's time for a new Serena to be born."she said as she held the scissors towards her hair.
