A/N: Another silly drabble-like dream. Posted it long ago on another website so I thought it's high time I brought it over here. It's a short one-shot, lol!

Disclaimer: I don't own anything.

Summary: I was unaware of my eyes traveling down her beautifully crafted physique, playing with my temptations to claim the goddess. Placing my hands on either side of her, our eyes locked. I want her.

Rose of Spring

Ah, there she is again, sleeping in the flower fields. The Goddess of Spring always slept in these fields every time Spring rolled in right after winter every year. Once Spring has passed, she would awaken and return to the high heavens, waiting for Spring to arrive once more. Each time the goddess arrived to sleep in the field of flowers, I am unable to take my eyes of her. There was something about the goddess which captivate me; her hair, a lush sea of pink locks swaying and shifting with the wind. Her skin was smooth and possessed an earthly glow, luring men to touch her. Yet there was one thing I was unable to define: her eyes. I do not know the color of her eyes but I could only imagine they were as blue as the azure sky, luring souls of the dead to her unwillingly.

I was unaware of my actions as I stepped forth in the field of flowers. The flowers beneath my feet withered and arched over, now lifeless. As I continued to approach her, I left a trail of dead flowers in my wake but yet, the flowers beneath the goddess stood strong, combating me. I lowered myself to the goddess watching her sleep silently, oblivious to my presence. Yes, there was definitely a force pulling me to her.

"I waited long for this, my goddess," I spoke quietly, slipping my spoken words into her ear.

My fingers came into contact with her smooth skin; as I expected, my fingers effortlessly glided across without resistance. Once my hand came into contact with the patch of flowers, the flowers withered beneath my fingers. I cared not for withering flowers; I cared for the goddess sleeping beneath me. I wanted her. I wanted her to become mine. Carefully moving around her, I slipped my arms beneath her back and legs gently lifting her off the floral fields. The goddess remained in slumber, unaware of the changes around her. Summoning a portal, I glanced over my shoulder before I stepped through it.

We reappeared in my chambers with statues of human souls frozen in stone. Walking to my bed, I placed down the goddess and sat beside her, stroking her peachy cheeks. Leaning in, I was drawn to kiss her. Placing the Kiss of Death on her, my eyes locked with her stunning blue eyes.

She did not speak. She did not ask where she was or who I was. She silently stared at me prompting me to introduce myself.

"You are awake," I told her quietly. "You are in the Underworld, in my realm."

She remained silent but responsive. Her hand had already pressed against my cheek prompting me to lean into her palm. She was warm.

"What is your name?" I asked.

"Lightning."

"You bare the name of the light that scatters during the storm. Yet, it is the light that flickers out on a whim."

Lightning remained silent. I watched her prop up on her elbows observing me. But of course, I did not introduce myself to the goddess.

"I go by the name of Caius Ballad, my goddess. You are now in the Realm of Chaos, the Underworld. This shall be your kingdom."

The goddess remained silent once again. I was unaware of my eyes traveling down her beautifully crafted physique, playing with my temptations to claim the goddess. Placing my hands on either side of her, our eyes locked. I want her. However, I am a gentleman who cannot force himself on a goddess, no. I wish to lure her to me even if I have to wait for the skies to be torn apart or when the earth splits, I shall wait.
