The lighter lit in the darkness out side of the large shop door and the blackness surrounding her was gone. She had no way of getting in and she certainly wasn't going to wake the blonde from a well deserved sleep, he'd been training so hard lately with the orange haired boy and she felt bad even coming home.
The nicotine filled her lungs and she slid down the wall into a sitting position trying to hide from the rain when the well know black cat came up coaxing the smoking female out of her protection and back into the rain. The cat walked around to the back and pushed at a closed door with her nose. Mizuki smashed the cigarette under her foot.
Another wasted, she thought.
"Um, alright...I can open this?" The door slid with ease making her angry for not thinking about a back door earlier, "Thank you, Yoruichi-San."
The cat ran away and Mizuki walked to the living area falling on the couch, eyes wide open. Now inside, as tired as she was, she was unable to sleep; to much stuff going on right now making her think. She was unable to clear her mind.
Maybe TV? Mizuki searched for the remote in the dark and pressed the power button startling awake the red head on the couch, she turned down the volume scared of waking anyone else.
"Sorry...Uh, OmyGod. Hi, Renji!" she jumped with suprise at the old friend across from her.
"Oh, uh, Mizuki! It's been forever, how are you?"
"Shh, Shh. Urahara-San is still asleep isn't he?"
"Yeah, I guess, I just passed out so I'm not even sure what time it is," He sighed and frowned.
"It's three-ish. Not sure on the exact time."
The long pause made them both somewhat uncomfortable until Renji spoke.
"Mizuki, where'd you go after the whole banishment thing, you weren't supposed to go you know? They were going to allow you to stay."
"Yeah, but if they had I would've been watched over at all hours by the end of the year I would've gone insane; besides after being here a while I realize it's a lot more laid back! I have three tattoo's and my lip is pierced. Kuchki-San would've sliced off my head by now if I were in seireitei." Mizuki's smile make Renji's heart sink.
"They're making it mandatory you come back and I was sent to find you."
"Oh, I see." Her brows pulled together making her nose wrinkle.
The silence was an obvious result of anger. She had a impulse to throw the remote at the TV and slap Renji. He had no business bringing her back without asking, she knew Renji was going to force her back if she said no so why doesn't she just go with him silently and without question? Because she had pride and her friends were here.
"I can't, or at least...how much longer can I have here?"
"You only have till I go back in two weeks."
Mizuki frowned but accepted the result. "Alright, um, I guess I'll be ready by then."
She got up and walked with ease to the room in the far beck, preparing to meet the orange haired boy and Urahara tomorrow.
