It was officially valentine day, Misaki decided to make chocolate. It was for a special person in her heart. Toshiki Kai. Just thinking about him made her heart skipped a beat. It didn't take that long to make, since the instructions were simple to follow. It took her about ten minutes to complete.
"Okay, all I have to do now is let it cool, then I'm done." The heart shape chocolate was cooling down in the fridge.
Since Toshiki and I have been going out for three years, he gave me a spare key to his house. It made me feel loved and special. He can be so sweet.
At the moment, she was at his house, in the kitchen. His house is surprisingly tidy.
She washes the dishes and spoons that she used. She shrieked when she felt strong arms encircled her slender waist.
"When did you get home?" She was blushing furiously.
"Just now, my darling Misaki. By the way you look cute in an apron." He kissed her cheek.
"I've made you something, so close your eyes," she shyly said.
Kai slyly opened one eye.
"Hey, no peeking, honey," she pinched his cheeks.
Momentarily, there was nothing but silence that filled the air. Misaki realised what she just said. She clasped a hand over her mouth.
"You just called me honey," he said in a teasing voice.
"No, I didn't," she tried to deny it, as she blushes.
"Yes you did, I heard you."
"Just close your eyes. I have something to give you."
"Is it a kiss?" He teases her yet again.
"No it isn't. What gave you that idea?" She asked.
"Because I'm addicted to you, Misaki Tokura."
"You're too much." Her face was red as an apple.
Once Kai closes his eyes, Misaki got the chocolate from the fridge. It turned out perfect. She placed the chocolate in his hands.
"You can open your eyes now."
He opened his eyes. He saw a heart shape chocolate in a box. On top of it, his name was written in Japanese. It was simple yet elegant design.
"Wow, you've made this for me?" He looked impressed.
"Yes, I hope you like it," she shyly said.
Kai broke a piece and popped it into his mouth.
"It's really good, thank you."
"You're welcome, happy valentine day." She surprised him with a kiss on the lips.
It was reaching the evening; he put a blindfold over her eyes.
"Kai…"
"It's a surprise."
He guided her to a seat. His hands were warm. Once she was seated, he took the blindfold off. She gasped upon seeing the beautiful view in front of her.
It was a romantic candlelit dinner, outside the balcony.
"It's lovely Kai," she was in awe.
"I'm glad you like it," he kissed her hand.
The couple enjoy a nice meal together, beneath the stars. He would hold her hand, across the table, as they look into each other eyes contently.
"I've received an interesting e-mail from you," he said.
"Don't tell me you saw that photo."
Misaki had accidentally sent a photo to him, when she was talking to her friend yesterday. In the photo, Misaki was doing a peace sign pose, with a smile across her face.
"Delete it, it's not for you," she was blushing.
"Too late, it's already my screen saver. Plus you look cute, especially when you smile."
She surprised him with another kiss that night.
As long as you're with me Toshiki, I'll always be happy.
