Listening to Demi and Naya sing "Here Comes the Sun" on repeat gave me a little inspiration.
As she lies snuggled up to me lightly snoring I can't help but realize how much I've missed having someone share my bed. It's been a really long time since I've felt comfortable enough to let someone in. With Dani it was impossible to not let her in. Her confidence and easy going personality had no problem breaking through my walls and turning me into a stuttering, blushing teenager. I glance down at her and the moonlight that is gently filling the room illuminates just enough for me to make out her blonde locks that are spread across my chest. She's so beautiful and full of life. I feel like I've known her a lot longer than I have and it scares me. I can't help but wonder if maybe we're are moving too fast. As if sensing my thoughts I feel Dani's grip on me tighten before she boroughs deeper into my chest. I smile down at her and dip my head to drop a light kiss on the top of her head before I allow the sound of her rhythmic breathing to lull me into a slumber.
The feel of fingers lightly running through my hair wakes me. I feel a smile spread across my face as I savor the feeling just a bit longer. I feel soft lips on mine and I allow my lips to follow her lead. After a few moments she pulls away and I finally crack my eyes and am met with the sight of Dani giving me a bright smile.
"Good morning", she rasps.
"Morning", I reply with a small smile. She leans down and places another peck on my lips. When she pulls back I'm struck with how nice this is. I reach a hand up to run my hand through her hair and she offers me another smile. After a moment she lays back down onto my chest and place a kiss on my exposed collarbone and I keep running my fingers through her soft tresses. Looking around the room I notice that it's not completely light out.
"Dani, why are we up so early", I question figuring she would have wanted to sleep in after we had a few drinks with Rachel and Kurt to celebrate her casting in Funny Girl.
"I figured we could do a little variation of our mini date", Dani replies
"Well, here comes the sun."
