"Really Travis? Could you be any louder?" Katie asked exasperated.
"I could, but I think that we would be caught if I was. Geez Katie, common sense," Travis chided her. Katie facepalmed. Why did I have to be partnered up with him? She thought to herself.
"Could you at least try not to step on every twig we pass?" Katie asked. Travis shrugged. They started walking again.

"Seriously Travis? Do you want to find the flag or not?" she asked.
"Okay Okay! Sorry. Gods, calm yourself woman!" Travis said. Katie rolled her eyes and started running with Travis in tow.
"Where are we going anyway?" he asked.
"Shhhh!" Katie whispered, "I think we're close." Travis looked around them.
"Well I don't see anything," he said.
"Shhh!" Katie shushed him again. He raised his hands in defeat. Katie slowly tiptoed to Zeus's fist. She climbed over it and peeked over the top… nothing.
"Well that was a bust," Travis said.
"Oh my gods, Travis!" Katie said annoyed, "If you have a better idea, please, tell me!" Travis thought for a while, Katie started at him tapping her foot.
"Well?" she asked.
"Well, it's elementary, my dear Katie. You have to think like the enemy," Travis said.
"Meaning?" Katie asked. Travis sighed. And she called him slow.
"Who is on the opposing side?" Travis asked.
"Ummm, I think the Aphrodite cabin, Dionysus, Ares, Poseidon-"
"Exactly! And where would our good friend Perseus's strong point be?" he asked her.
"In the water?"
"Uh huh! And of course they would hide the flag where they were strongest so-"
"It's in the stream! Of course!" Katie exclaimed. She ran off.
"You're welcome!" he said running after her.
Sure enough, the flag was in the stream with Percy guarding it. After a lot of fighting, getting soaked to the bone, and some more fighting (between Katie and Travis this time), the two managed to get the flag over to their side of the woods. After they passed the line, cheers rang out throughout the woods.
"Well, that was interesting," Katie said. She handed the flag to her sister and started wringing the water out of her hair.
"Our victory is all thanks to my brilliant plan," Travis said, complimenting himself. Katie rolled her eyes.
"Of course," she said.
"And I was pretty kick butt when we were fighting Percy," Travis said.
"Uh huh, I guess you were," Katie admitted.
"I also did fend off the people who tried to take the flag away."
"Yeah, you did."
"All because I am so awesome!"
"Don't push it."
"Okay."
Ummm… I guess… we make a pretty good team, Gardner," Travis said.
"We do. After all, we are Katie Gardner and Travis Stoll," she said smiling.
"You mean Travis Stoll and Katie Gardner," he corrected her. Her smile faltered.
"Nope. It's Katie Gardner and Travis Stoll," she countered.
"Uh, I think it sounds better as Travis Stoll and Katie Gardner," he said.
"Well I think it's better as Gardner then Stoll," she said.
"Well you're wrong!"
"No you're wrong!"
"Stoll!"
"Gardner!"
"Stoll!"
"Gardner!"
And their argument continued. The two stood there for hour, not noticing that everyone had left for dinner while they were arguing over whose name should go first.
That was just a short little story between the two. It may not have been the mushy kind of romance, but I mean, come on; it's Katie Gardner and Travis Stoll! Or Travis Stoll and Katie Gardner… Anyways, REVIEW!
