(Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars. So this came to me while watching the Phantom Menace. I think I've seen it too many times.)
Qui Gon lit his light saber and began to fight Darth Maul.
"Tell them to take off," he told Anakin.
Anakin ran in.
The pilot stated the obvious. "Qui Gon's in trouble."
"He said to take off," Anakin told them.
The pilot and Obi Wan exchanged glances.
"Well. . ." the pilot started hesitantly.
Obi Wan nodded. "If that's what Qui Gon said."
They turned to Anakin, who was looking awfully confused.
"That's what he said," Anakin confirmed.
"Well then, better do it," Obi Wan said.
Outside Darth Maul stopped and stared up in surprise as the Naboo ship took off and headed into space. Qui Gon paused and looked up as well, watching the ship leave him behind.
"Anakin!" he shouted. "That's not what I meant!"
