Pulling into an empty parking space, Kendall killed the car's engine. The entire ride from Logan's house had been stiflingly quiet. And awkward.

Pulling the keys out of ignition and transferring them to his pocket, the blonde spotted the other two members of Big Time Rush, waiting beside their car for Logan and himself. Motioning them on, Kendall turned his head to look at his companion as their friends made their way into the studio.

Logan's eyes were blocked by his dark aviators, successfully preventing Kendall from gauging his emotions.

Gripping the steering wheel and parting his lips, Kendall broke the silence, "I don't want things to be awkward between us." A nod from Logan let him know he was heard, so the blonde continued, casting his head downward, unable to look at the other boy, "But, I don't wanna just pretend nothing happened."

"Me either." Kendall's head snapped back to the side with an audible creak. Reaching his hand from the wheel to soothe his neck, Kendall stared into what he hoped were Logan's eyes behind the glasses.

"What? You don't wanna…you didn't mind…it?" Kendall fumbled with his words, trying to express his shock in a composed manner, and failing miserably.

Logan pulled his sunglasses off as he chuckled lightly at the other boy's confusion. "I kissed back didn't I?"

"Well yeah. I just figured you were, I dunno, surprised? And caught up in the moment?" Kendall tried to reason, hands flopping uselessly in the air in an attempt to express his words.

Licking his bottom lip before sinking his teeth into it Logan looked down to sort his thoughts before speaking. "I mean I was surprised; I didn't expect it…but I kissed you back because I wanted to kiss you."

Looking to his left Logan returned his gaze to the other. "Wipe that smirk off your face."

Kendall turned away to the window, smirk growing.

"You're a douche." Logan pouted and crossed his arms, teasing the blonde.

Kendall was quick to snap his head towards Logan. Caressing his neck once again, he answered with a teasing, "A douche you want to kiss."

Huffing Logan shifted his gaze upwards before speaking, "God only knows why."

Feigning hurt, Kendall dramatically laid his palm across his heart. "Logie, you wound me."

"You'll be fine." Refolding his arms, Logan turned to his window to hide his grin.

The two sat in relative silence, this one not as awkward as the ride there. Sighing out in defeat to being the first to speak, Kendall placed his hand on Logan's knee to gain his attention. With the other boy's head turned in his direction and eyes locked on his Kendall sighed again before finally asking the question he so desperately wanted to. "So if I wanted to kiss you again, would you kiss me back…again?"
