Chapter 1: Prologue
A New Threat
The land of Konoha shook. Buildings fell. The village was in an earthquake. There aren't a lot of earthquakes in Konoha, though…how did this happen? Could it have been something else?
Soon after the quake, a meeting in Konoha was held.
"I think this was the work of a group of ninja." The Hokage said.
"Hokage-sama, do you think it really was a group of ninja from somewhere else? Then how did they do this?" An Anbu asked
"This earthquake was different; the land didn't move in waves" The Hokage said.
"What do you mean?" The same Anbu asked.
"As you should know, an earthquake will release two certain waves, the primary and secondary waves, well, and surface waves too, but the land shook too much, though I didn't feel waves," The Hokage said.
"Well, the only way to prove this theory is to find the source." Kakashi said, who apparently was at the meeting.
"Then go." The Hokage said. "Find it."
They found it. It was unusual and open area with about a hundred holes in the ground.
"It sure was here, and it sure was done by ninjas, but how could waves not hit our land?"
"Well, the ninja could have used their Chakra to seal the waves and just emit a ferocious punch." Kakashi said.
"Why do that? If they wanted to make it as earthquake-related as possible, why would they seal the waves?" An Anbu asked.
"They want us to know they want a fight, and we'll give 'em one."
"Hokage-sama, shall we attack the group of ninja that has done this?" A Jonin asked.
"Yes. We shall gather four ninjas-three Genin or Chunin, and one Anbu. They will fight for Konoha and for the village.
"Even depending on the volume of enemy, only the four must attack them?" An Anbu named Takashi asked.
"Yes. We may have to send backup troops later, though I have faith in the ninja of Konoha. However, for now, I want you, Takashi, to be the Anbu of the group of Konoha. Gather experienced Genin, because our village needs more Chunin. This fight is sure to raise their ranks higher, to Chunin level. Here's a map of the land, I'm sure you will need it. Lead the group to where you think the enemy ninja are, and please, come back alive."
"Yes, Hokage-sama." Takashi said. "I will go."
