The New Directions: The Next Generation

Will Shuester is back at WMHS after fourteen years on Broadway. He's now ready for the new generation of the New Directions, and for the ones that will bring his choir room back to life. With music.

1. Chapter 1

Will Schuester confidently strode through WMHS' main hall way. He located the wide billboard with all of the sign up sheets, and hurried over to it. In his hand, Will held the glee club sign up sheet and a pen. He could clearly remember the first time he did this in 2009. It was been twenty-three years since then. Will paused for a few moments, reminiscing about his past glee club. After what seemed like hours, he tacked the sign up sheet onto the board and attached the pen next to it. It had been too long since he had done that.

It had now been twenty years since the class of 2012 graduated. After his seniors were gone, Will left William McKinley High School. He and Emma moved to New York City, and he followed his dream of becoming a Broadway star. His career took off, and Will had a successful fourteen years starring in multiple Broadway shows. Their son, Joey, was at NYADA, studying to become an actor. After Joey left for college, Will retired from the spotlight, and was now back in Lima with his beautiful wife.

He was ready for the kids that would make his choir room come back to life.
