"Ever had a dream that has never come true?"
-Jeff, Chuck Episode 2.14
The chambermaid had just left. The front desk manager had dispatched her to the room to check on the smell. The neighboring room had complained again. She found the reason and had the cleanup crew eliminate the problem. She wouldn't touch it.
They crossed paths on the way to the room and did not take note of the chambermaid. Lester looked at Jeff and asked, "So, do you think we made it in time?"
Jeff shrugged, "I don't know man. That last group of people wouldn't leave. And I still can't believe you agreed that we would play until the last person walked out."
"Hey, it was the only way, they would agree to keep us." Lester looked around at the room. It certainly wasn't what they had expected. Things were going downhill, again.
Jeff almost screamed, "They did it again. Again."
"What?" Lester looked over.
"They cleaned out my Knackwurst and Sauerkraut. I worked on this new recipe and then they take it away." He shook his head, "It isn't like we have my old friend. I am not brewing. It's just garlic and some special seasoning."
Lester waved him off. He wasn't all that happy with the smell either. It was worse than the mystery meat containers they had Morgan try. Lester smiled as he remembered the old times at Buy More. He walked over to the TV and turned it on. There it was. The game was on.
Jeff clapped his hands, "We made it."
"Yeah, great. Something from home." Lester smiled. He still wished for what was in his dreams.
Then it came on. The impact was too great. Time slowed while they watched. It couldn't be true. How could that happen?
Lester managed to get out, "What? A Nerd."
"Fernando?"
A/N Thought it was at least worth a mention. Herder makes good again.
