Decorating Day

It was Christmas, 1984 in the Burrow. Molly and Arthur were gathering up their sons and daughter for the anual decorating day. Bill and Charley raced in, and up to their rooms to change out of their quiditch robes. They had been passing the quaffle back and forth before they had been called.
Percy was found in his room, nose in a book which he carried down with him. Fred and George were found mixing things in the kitchen.
"Boys! Out of that! You could get hurt!" Molly scolded from the doorway.
"But mummy we makin chocolateship cookies for daddy," one of them replied in a sad voice.
"Come on boys, help me with ron. It's time to decorate the tree," Molly told them.
They jumped off their stools and ran into the other room and gathered around the tree. Ron was on the floor in front of the tree, reaching up to touch it as high as he could.
ron had been born deaf and blind, and was hard to control. Fred and George were the only two who could help him understand the world around him. Even though they loved joking, they loved their little brother more, and would help him any chance they got. "Arthur, where's Ginny!" Molly called.
"Right here dear, I've got her," he called back.
Arthur came down the stairs carrying the youngest and only daughter, Ginny.
Once they were all gathered, Molly started passing out ornaments to place on and around the tree, with Arthur helping the littlest ones. They put on music, and drank tea while they worked. By the time they were done, It was time to put the star on top of the tree. "Ron's turn," Molly told all of them. "Arthur, can you..."
"Of course Molly." Arthur reached down and scooped up his son, making sure he put the star securely in the little one's fingers. Lifting Ron high into the air to the top, he let go with one arm to guide Ron's hand to the branch. After making sure the star was safely on the tree, Arthur lowered him back to the ground and everyone cheered.
Molly baked cake and the family finished decorating the house before the Christmas party that night. It was an unforgetable Weasley Christmas.
