A coffee Shop called Destiny

It had happened again.

I always went into the destiny coffee shop every Wednesday for a hot chocolate. It had been my treat to myself after art club for months. But recently, I had begun to notice that my hot chocolate was different.

Each week the chocolate dusting on top of the foam was dusted differently.

One week a star

Another a smiley face

And sometimes, a heart.

At first I thought nothing of it- I reckoned someone was just trying out new styles or something. But I'll admit it- I looked forward now every week to see what "chocolate guy" had done next. Especially considering what had been happening these last few times.

Instead of cute little shapes... it was numbers, always one or two of them.

When I pulled off the lid this time, it was the same. Yet another number.

Sitting down at the tiny table, I pulled out my notebook and carefully wrote in the final number, next to where I had been keeping record of all the numbers.

There was now enough for a mobile number.

I bit my lip. Why would "chocolate" give me their number? I didn't know them…. It least, I didn't think I did. And they had given me no clue to who they were.

Yes, I had been intrigued about the whole thing since Selphie pointed out that HER swirl was different to mine.

It was then that I had begun to notice it happening. Soon I had begun to be intrigued in who was doing it.

Not long after that, the numbers had begun.

Taking a deep breath, I looked down at the numbers all neatly recorded in my notebook. It was then I decided.

I'd wait until next week to see what was on the hot chocolate.

Next week I could hardly wait to see what was on the hot chocolate. I practically pulled it out of the server's hand.

Cracking the thermal lid off as I walked away I saw what "chocolate" had drawn.

A winking face.

I felt a smile tug at the corners of my lips, and before I could stop myself, I turned around and asked the server "Riku!" his name card proclaimed, the question I had been burning to ask.

"Do you know who made this hot chocolate?"

"Riku" smirked at me and merely said, "Check the handle."

Shifting my grip on the cup to see what he meant, I noticed that on the side of the thermal cup holder was a small message, written in scrawling black marker.

Call me if you dare?-S

Long after the girl had gone, Riku grabbed his best friend and co-worker from where he had been hiding under the counter since "the girl" had come to the counter.

Who knows what Sora would've done, if he'd had to be there? Sora should really appreciate him more.

Plus- it just made work more interesting when Sora wasn't just mooning over her, "admiring from afar" as he called it.

Just call me cupid, he thought, smirking.

An Early Happy Valentines'! ;)
