Damn! I almost had it, thought the fourth neck. She had recently booked a gig to sing at some concert. While she tried to hide her excitement from the other orochis she couldn't help but practice her dance moves for hours. Unknown to Corona she was causing a bit of a distraction to the 5th neck.

At this rate I won't be able to make my deadline because Corona keeps breaking my concentration!! Reiko thought miserably. As much as the magaka tried to focus on her work she couldn't help but look up to see the singer dance. Sometime it would be because of an annoyed groan due to a mistake on her steps or a happy squeal when Corona thought of being on the stage. Whatever the case may be Reiko was behind schedule and she will not allow the deadline to pass.

"Practice somewhere else you're distracting me," ordered Reiko. She was darkening the line of her character when a certain someone decided to ignore her and play the music louder. The 5th neck decided to continue her work and just try to ignore the noise. Almost done tracing his fig-

"YAY!! I DID IT!!" cried out a very happy orochi. Corona finally had perfected her dance moves and was ready for the concert. She was about to pump her fist in the air when she noticed the killer glare Reiko was giving her. Her sudden burst of noise caused Reiko to skew out of the line ruining her art. To say Reiko was pissed was a bit of an understatement.

"That's it! Go practice somewhere else 69," shouted Reiko putting emphasis on the 69 knowing that would make Corona angry.

"Hey! How many times do I have to tell you it's 68! Just because you are some cartoonist doesn't mean you have to go around and insult me like that."

"First of all I am a magaka and second of all you're the one who is embarrassed by your spot on the music charts."

"Whatever, I don't need to hear this I've got to go prepare for my debut." She said preparing to leave. The singer went to get her boom box ready to leave the 5th neck alone when…

"You know I'll stop calling you 69 in exchange for something else," offered Reiko in a calm voice. Corona froze in her tracks and wondered what exactly Reiko wanted. Needless to say an idea popped up in the magaka's mind and if it happens than maybe today wasn't a total waste. It was something she longed for a long time and this opportunity was too easy to pass up.

"Okay I'll bite what is it you want Reiko?" she asked walking up to the quiet orochi. She couldn't quite understand Reiko sometimes yet they both shared talent that was scorned by others. She was now face to face with the 5th neck staring into those ruby eyes. What in the world does Reiko want from me? Thought the singer.

"Well what is it you want hmmm," her sentence cut short by incredibly soft lips touching her own. The kiss was intense yet gentle to the singer. Unfortunately it was cut short as Reiko backed away. Both orochis were blushing red not knowing what to say to each other.

"Excuse me but I have to get back to work," the magaka said gathering her materials. She decided to work at her house so there wouldn't be any more distractions.

"Tell the 2nd neck I won't be back until I'm done. Oh and Corona-," the singer turned at her name still speechless. Corona was still stun by Reiko's action and she was touching her lips wondering why her heart was beating so fast.

"Good luck on your concert." With that she teleported to her house on earth. Reiko felt energized by the kiss and knew she'd finish her task before the deadline. To say the least today was not a waste of time.
