Chapter 00 – Unseen events

It has been two weeks since the defeat of the Three Sacred Beasts. And the one who annihilated them is being sent to another school by the principal.

A bald man was seating on a chair as he was talking to a youngster with brown colored hair "Jaden, I'll be sending you to the middle east branch of Duel Academy." The second year student put on a questionable face: "What for?"

Somehow, it made the principal smile: "The Middle East branch is actually where the top ranking students study. There, you will get stronger and meet various opponents who are mightier than you. You might even get some comrades that will stick with you. Think of this as my thank-you gift. So, what do you say?"

Jaden paused for a moment and thought: "Stronger opponents….huh…." He faced the principal and said: "For how long?"

"That depends on you. If you think you're strong enough to comeback again." as he grinned wirily.

The teen stared at the floor wondering if he should accept the offer. If he will, then he would have to leave his buddies behind and make new friends all-over again in which he thought would be troublesome in many ways. But on the good side, he would meet unyielding duelists that would be challenging him everyday. Unlike recently, he was getting bored of his everyday life. There were only a few duelists that could quench his thirst for dueling and he found it rather boring since he always duels the same people; and dueling the same people everyday is like killing himself with boredom. He's a teenager for god's sake; every teenager wants fun and challenging situations. As he visualized about the pros and cons, he thought that it would be on his advantage even though socializing with strangers would be bothersome. But then again, it's for the sake of not getting bored.

"….Alright, I accept." saying it with a doubtful tone.

The bald man closed his eyes and opened: "I thought as much. Your flight will be on next week. Be sure to pack everything you need. Now, dismissed." As Jaden heard the order; he turned around and walked out of the office. "I wonder if that was the right decision?"
