Glee is filming in NYC right now, and I couldn't help but think that Kurt could maybe get flirted with when he's there. Obviously, it never happens to him in his conservative town, but it IS NYC….it would so happen, right?

GLEE

Kurt had locked arms with Rachel on his right and Mercedes on his left as the started walking down the busy New York City sidewalk. "This is brilliant," he breathed, trying to look everywhere at once as they got nearer to the heart of Time Square.

"I can't wait to come back here as a Broadway star," said Rachel, her face equally gob smacked as Kurt's.

The small group of New Directions kept walking, only stopping to take photos in front of memorable New York staple marks. Rachel had broken off from Kurt's arm to take a photo of him and Mercedes in front of a giant Wicked poster.

"We should get all three of us in," said Rachel, looking around for someone to take a photo. It seemed like most of the group had moved on already.

"You guys need a photo taken?" The three friends looked over to see a tall, well-built man with sandy blonde hair standing just next to them. He had a kind smile on his face and, Kurt noted, impeccably dressed.

"That would be wonderful, yes," said Rachel, handing him her camera.

"Smile!" he said, looking at them and taking the picture with a click. The three walked over to the man and Kurt was handed the camera, the man's fingers lingering on his for a second longer.

"My name is Cal," he said with a grin at Kurt. He was probably a few inches taller than Kurt.

"I'm Kurt, this is Mercedes and Rachel," said Kurt, a little flustered at the handsome man.

Cal's grin grew. "Kurt. You're visiting my city, then?"

"We're here for a singing competition," said Rachel. "We're probably going to win, or at least place."

"That's fantastic," said Cal, but he didn't look at Rachel. His eyes were still on Kurt, his scrutiny making him blush. "Would you like to go grab some coffee, Kurt?"

Kurt froze, looking at the man with wide eyes. Rachel and Mercedes were giggling behind him. "Me?" said Kurt, finally.

"Obviously," said Cal with a flirty grin. "I have to say, you stick out from a crowd, even one as fashionable and glittery as Times Square. I admire that in a man." Cal had stepped forward, his hand brushing against Kurt's.

Kurt was sure his face was a magnificent shade of red by now. "I would love to get coffee but, uh, I have a boyfriend, so I shouldn't."

Cal smiled sadly, taking a step back from him. "Well that's a damn shame. Lucky guy." Cal finally took his eyes off Kurt and back at Mercedes and Rachel. "I hope you all enjoy the city."

"We will! Thanks for the photo," said Mercedes, slipping her arm through Kurt's.

"You're welcome," Cal said before taking a few steps and disappearing into the crowd.

"Holy crap, that boy was fine," said Mercedes.

"He was very attractive," said Rachel, taking her camera from Kurt and also locking arms with him. She sighed. "Why are all good men gay?"

"I can't believe he just hit on me," said Kurt as they started walking. "I never get hit on. I mean, I can't even count the amount of times when I'm with you girls and you get hit on, but…not me. And he was…wow. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Blaine but he was…"

"Hot," agreed Mercedes. "And boy, you don't get hit on in Ohio. But in New York City…well, I think that is going to be happening a lot when we're here." She winked at him and Kurt blushed.

Just a short little drabble. I hope you liked it!
