Mistakes-
It was a mistake, Roy Mustang decided, to take Full Metal out drinking on his 18th birthday. The kid (adult now) had never participated in any underage consumption, so his time with the General was his first time period. Needless to say, Roy could hold alcohol very well, much better than someone inexperienced, and therefore, while his subordinate left stumbling, he was not even drunk.
"Come with me, Full Metal," He had chastened
as Edward clapped his hands and giggled at the flashes of bright blue light. "It's my responsibility as your superior to get you off the streets before you kill someone."
Sure, it had seemed like a good idea at the time. Take the young Colonel to his house, let him rest on the couch, sober him up with food and water, then send him on his way. Too bad Full Metal always managed to surprise him.
A definite mistake, Roy declared, after all, he had been in many relationships, unlike Full Metal. Hence, when the blonde leaned past a tray of food to kiss him, he should have been the mature one and stopped it right there.
But he had wanted that same thing for so long. How could he pass up the opportunity dangled before his nose as a carrot to a rabbit?
Truly, it was a horrible mistake on his part to lead Full Metal to his bedroom. Because not only would that night be Edward's first try at binge drinking, it would also be the first time he had slept with anyone. His male superior officer nonetheless.
The sight of blonde hair spilled onto a pillow, legs spread widely and writhing underneath his in absolute pleasure, Roy mused, was forever burned into his memory. Those amber eyes, dark with lust, were what he stared into as he stole the naïve boy's innocence.
He felt sick. Honestly, he had used women to forget his problems in a one night stand relationship, but they both knew what it was they were doing. Full Metal may have been willing, yet he was also intoxicated way past normal. The fact that he had taken advantage of a participant who had little choice on the matter grated Roy's conscience.
And he sighed when he awoke alone; it had been a mistake indeed. It was likely that Full Metal hated him now. Although, the Colonel was officially a legal adult when the General bedded him. It made him chuckle. At least Edward couldn't attack him with the law.
His morning (which was near noon) began as every other. Alone, he walked to the kitchen and prepared to make some coffee. The sight of a blonde wearing one of Roy's shirts, collapsed into a chair nearly made him drop his cup.
"Geeze, bastard. Took you long enough to get up," Edward grumbled. "Al's going to kill me for staying out so late," He paused thoughtfully, "and probably you too."
"You mean… you're not angry?" Roy weakly asked.
"Angry? Of course I am! My head's killing me, my ass feels like its on fire and all you can do is stand there with your mouth open. Make yourself useful and get some coffee."
"Then you know last night, what we did, that it was wrong?"
Edward glanced at Roy's obvious apprehension then blushed lightly. "I wouldn't have let myself get drunk and then do that with someone I didn't already have feelings for. So relax, Roy."
"I must say, Full M- Edward, you never cease to amaze me."
"Coffee, Roy, before I die of a migraine!" Ed commanded and snapped his fingers for emphasis.
He mumbled a, "Yes, Master" and began brewing the drink.
As an after thought Edward added, "And do you think you could be gentler next time, bastard? I can barely sit straight in this chair."
Roy grinned, it was definitely a mistake. The best mistake of his life.
