A beatiful poem that I wrote. It is Todd/Toad talking to his mother. It is kind of sad and it has some hint of self mutalation. cutting

Okay so anyways this is from Todd's (Toad's) POV. He is talking about his mom. I like it because I wrote it when I was bored and sugar high after watching Edward Sissorhands. (Awesome movie by the way). So anyways here it is.

Beneath the Slimy Skin

What is love when you are lost

What is love when you're alone

With a Dad who never cared

And a Mom whose never home

And when she is she's with a man

Different every night

It's not easy to get by

I close my eyes so tight

But I guess it's not easy for her

Washing my blood stained sleeve

But I can't help myself

It's better if I leave

But I can't leave her thought

For she has always been there

When I'm hurt and when I'm crying

She showed my that she cared

And I know she is the only one,

Who can see beneath my slimy skin

And she is the only one who can

Awaken the love within

I love her so much

And I want her to see

I'm never gonna go

Unless she will go with me
