Victor was sitting in the sitting room on his couch. after being married to Victoria he wondered...did he really make the right choice? Was it really the right thing to do after all that time he spent with the one he truely loves...his corpse bride. His dear Emily. Her graceful dancing and swaying. Her beautiful eyes, her wonderus hair. Oh how he missed her with all his heart. "Victor, are you alright, darling?" Asked his wife, Victoria as she entered the sitting room and sat beside her husband. Victor snapped out of his thoughts and replied. "Yes, I-I'm fine Victoria...I was just...thinking..." "About Emily?" She asked him. He sighed and replied "Yes...Emily." Victoria looked up to him. "I know you loved her deep down. And I understand if you still miss her, Victor." She took off her ring around her finger. Victor became wide eyed. "Victoria, what-" Victor tried to say, but she put a finger on his lips. "Shh...Victor, I want you to be happy. We both know you belong to Emily. We were forced into marrying anyway." She put the ring to his hand and closed it with his fingers the same way Emily did before turning into a swarm of blue butterflies. Victor couldn't believe how understanding she was this very moment."i must thank you for understanding Victoria. I'll always remember you." "And I you, Victor." Victoria replied as Victor went out of the house, looking back at it and sees Victoria at the bedroom window waving goodbye to him. Victor waved back and went into the woods to Emily's grave. "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows, you cup will never empty for I will be you wine." He said feeling very confident like the last time he did this at the very same location where he had met Emily. "With this ring, I ask you, Emily, to be mine once again." He said putting the ring on a "root" of a branch. Staring at the root, hoping against hope, he waited. Then the ground began to move and something bursted out the ground and Emily risen from her grave again. Lifting up her vail, she smiled and stared lovingly into his eyes. "Hello Victor." She said in the very same angelic, whisper like voice. She held out her hand to Victor, but this time, he took it without hesitation or without any fear at all. "I love you Emily. I've always had." He said to her. "I love you too Victor." Emily replied and the two leaned in and they kissed passionatly and the crows took them back to the Land Of The Dead, as they got back, many corpses and skeletons, including Bonejangles, welcomed him back. Victor knew he can't marry her unless he dies, but this time, he wanted to. As the corpses and skeletons got up to the land of the living, they went to the very same church and Emily allowed Victor to drink the poison, thus joining his beloved Corpse Bride in death. Victor was now named the Corpse Groom and he and his wife Emily lived happily ever after in the Land Of The Dead
