Chapter 1
One rainy stormy night after Lena watches her dad leave the house and gets into a cab and she runs to Lorelai's room in her pajamas clutching her favorite stuffed animal and watches her remake the bed since her dad got fed up and ripped all the blankets off the bed.
"he's not coming back is he?" Lena wonders
Lorelai just sighs and turns around "no sweetpea,he's not; Now please go to bed mommy has to work in the morning and she's tired." Lorelai tells her
"with you?" Lena wonders
"no sweetpea you're sleeping in your own bed in your own room tonight." Lorelai tells her
"pleasee?" Lena whines
Lorelai sighs and just stops "fine." Lorelai tells her
Lena gets up on the bed and snuggles under the covers.
"I'll be right back stay in here." Lorelai tells her
Lena starts to get sleepy.
Lorelai runs downstairs and deadbolts the front door closed to make her her husband doesn't come back then comes upstairs and goes into the bathroom and looks at herself in the mirror and sighs and brushes her teeth then leaves the bathroom turning off the light and crawls into the bed next to Lena and kisses her head softly.
"night sweetie." Lorelai says and turns off the light and lays down under the covers and snuggles with Lena
In the morning it's still rainy,dark, and gloomy outside and is dark in the room so Lorelai just groans softly and looks over at a peaceful sleeping Lena and smiles and gently runs her hand down her back before reaching for her laptop and putting it on her lap and turns it on and waits for it to start up before she jumps on the internet for a while and just shops around online.
Lorelai listens to the pouring rain pelting on her window for a while, while she shops around online waiting for Lena to wake up and finally gets bored and makes her way downstairs to make herself some coffee.
Lorelai sits at the table and cries into her hands getting it out of her system so she's not depressed the rest of the day then picks up the phone to call Sookie.
