A pair of five year old legs sat swinging on a bench in a long hallway at the Ministry of Magic. The bench was cold and hard and this five-year-old was getting hungry. Her parents were in a room being yelled at by a sweaty man that was tall and had a big bald had. They kept apologizing and calling him Minister. Helena knew she was in trouble by the shear size of the building and the number of very red faced men who had shown up at her house this morning. Honestly she was only trying to make fireworks. She hated it when all the grown ups were so mad. She sat swinging her legs and a very pretty witch with lots of curly hair came down from the elevator. She had a stack of books at least as tall as Helena was that she was balancing in her arms. She didn't seem to notice Helena and walked into the room with her parents. When she opened the door Helena could hear raised voices and the tall black bald man was pacing back and forth.

Helena looked down. She started to cry. She was sniffing and wiping her nose on her sleeve when another person sat down with her, another adult person. He had messy black hair and glasses and a big black eye.

"What happened to you eye?" she asked.

"My son got a hold of my wand," he said with a grimace.

"Oh," she said, "I played with my daddy's wand this morning and he got in trouble. My Mommy did too. Those people sure do look mad."

"What happened," he asked.

"I broke the moon."

He coughed a little and said, "That was you?"

If he heard about it she was really in trouble.

"Yes…I was trying to make smoke. My daddy does it sometimes for me and my little sister. He points his wand and makes puffs of smoke in different colors. I was trying to do that for my little sister outside because she cried when she fell down, but I broke the moon instead. I really just wanted to make smoke."

The man got a funny look in his eyes, "Do you know that my dad used to do that for me? Now I do that for my son."

He was smiling at her. She really liked him. "The men that came to our house said it was a good thing that it is day light because only some Muddles can see but they already had to send out some Oblivators to modify people memories."

"Yes I've heard that too. I don't think it will be too big of a problem. Some trained Wizards and Witches are trying to figure out a spell that will blow up that piece that you broke and make it into something like space fireworks. Plus we don't think anyone will notice it's missing from the moon it was only a little piece."

"Do they have to blow it up?" she asked.

"Yes the Earth can't have two moons. Muggles would notice that really quickly."

"Do you think you could tell that big man in there that it was an accident and I won't play with my daddy's wand again?"

He smiled at her and said he would go do just that.

She left with her parents marveling about how their child had actually moved a piece from the moon AND met Harry Potter.

Helena just wondered who Harry Potter was.
