"You have to kill him Dana." The woman said as she walked down the stairs. "Who are you? What is going on here and what is this place?" Marty demanded. "This is where one of the Ancient Ones sleeps." The woman said as she walked around the room. "One? You mean there's more then one?" Dana asked pointing the gun at her. "Yes there is more then one. There are facilities all around the world. I am the director of this one, and every year a ritual is done to ensure that humanity survives. It is different everywhere. Here we have to sacrifice five individuals to keep them asleep. Not everyone have to die. The virgin can live, but only if she suffers. You are the virgin Dana." The Director said as she stopped and looked at her. "I'm the virgin?" Dana asked "We work with what we get." The director said. "Hold on that means that I have to die. Maybe we should just let them wake. What would happen?" Marty said as he walked towards the Director. "The agonizing death of every human on the planet." The director stated looking at Marty. "You joking. You must have a plan B." Dana said looking scared. "There is no plan B. There is no weapon, potion or spell that will stop them if we fail. This is our first and only line of defense. You have to kill him. It is either he lives to see the dawn then everyone dies or he dies and everyone lives. You have to choose. Him or the planet." The Director said looking into Dana's eyes. "You said there were others. Can't they do it?" Dana pleaded as tears formed in her eyes. "The other rituals failed. This one has to succeed or they will awaken." The Director said "Don't do it. If this is the price then we should let something take humans place." Marty said as he looked at Dana. "You are talking about the deaths of billions of people." The Director said with a disgusted look on her face. "I'm sorry." Dana said as she pointed the gun at Marty. Marty saw a werewolf coming down the hall. "I'm sorry too." Marty said as the wolf pounced and bit Dana on the shoulder. Dana cried out and shot the werewolf in the head twice before it let go and ran. She fell to the ground and saw Marty and the Director fighting. Marty got his hands around the Director's throat . I'm sorry Dana whispered then she pulled the trigger. The gun rang out four times. Marty froze then he dropped. He laid there while blood polled around him. The Director was coughing and hoping they made it in time. The tremors stopped and her phone went off. She looked and saw that they did it. She saw Dana get up. She walked over to her. "You did it. Congratulations you just saved humanity. Come on lets get you patched up. "What is going to happen to me now." Dana asked as she limped up the stairs. "First we're going get you a sliver dog collar. Then I am going get you a job here." She said. "Why?" Dana asked "You did get bit by a werewolf. So we have to have some way to control the change and I see a little of myself in you. Is that ok with you." She said. "That's ok." Dana said.

"Dana call maintenance and make sure they check the wiring. We don't need another mishap like last year. It took a week to get rid of all the evidence when the unicorn escaped." The director said as she walked into her office. "Yes Director, and Director the list of people for the ritual is on you desk." Dana said. "Thank you Dana. Now let see who do we have here." The director said as she picked up a piece of paper.
