Never Far Behind
Summary
They met when they were only three, instantly becoming best friends.
"Do you want to be friends Troy, best friends?" "Of course Gabi, best friends forever."
As they grew up, moving into 5th grade, things started to change but their friendship very wavered.
"How could you," punch "break up" punch, punch "with" punch "Gabi." Troy yelled as he beat up Gabriella's first boyfriend.

"Troy," Gabriella sobbed "we're moving." "Why?" Troy asked "My mom got transferred again." Gabriella replied. "Goodbye Troy." Gabriella called letting go of his warm hand.
Now
"Gabi, what are you doing here." Troy asked excitedly. "My mom has been transferred back and the company promised not to transfer her again until I'm out of High School." Gabriella replied. "Wow!" Troy said.
Will sparks fly!
"Trooosyies, come on and walk me to class!" A shrill voice screeched. Gabriella looked up and saw the voice was from a well dressed blonde girl. "Sharpay" Troy called "Come over here there is someone I would like you to meet." Sharpay teetered over on 6 inch stilettos. "Sharpay, this is my friend Gabi, I mean Gabriella." "Gabi, this is my girlfriend, Sharpay." Troy said. "Nice to meet you Sharpay." Gabriella said kindly. "A Pleasure, I'm sure." Sharpay replied icily. "Come on Troy," Sharpay said grabbing his hand. As they walked away, leaving Gabriella Troy look over his shoulder, smiling sheepishly as if to say What am I gonna do?
Or will someone stand in there way.
