Ryuu Soma stared at his surroundings dispassionately. As
always, Lieutenant Dan Simmons had been yelling at him
because he didn't obey the 'rules'.
Hah.
Screw the rules. And Dan Simmons could go to hell too.
As if he would've paid the slightest care. Like hell.
On impulse, Ryuu's cold gaze shifted on to the little
girl. The girl whose eyes had been haunting him ever
since he saw her. Her eyes. Maki's eyes.
But she wasn't Maki. She was Harriet Bartholomew, Hattie
for short. The only person in this world who could get
into the cursed creature's good side, if it had had any.
Hmph. Even their voices were the same. Was that damned
red-haired Mephistopheles-wannabe trying to mock him?
He'd sold his soul to that devil. And he'd given Takuto
Kaneshiro this new personality, new abilities, new
EVERYTHING!
Except for his heart. It'd remained hollow after what
happened. And he'd not rest until he could wipe that
filthy existence off this Earth. No matter what.
Even if he had to kill the whole FUNERAL to do it.
Yeah, even Harriet. Even that innocent little girl.
For no one was truly innocent.
Because she reminded him about Maki very much.
Too much.
And what's worse? She thought he was the bad person
and that damned thing was the good one.
Oh, he wasn't a good person, not anymore. But when
/she/ said that... it hurt.
She had called him yousei-kun. Fairy.
Him? Far from that.
Maybe because of his appearance. This piercing blue
eye. Lieutenant Simmons seemed to hate this eye.
Ryuu could see him practically boiling inside
everytime his eyes and Ryuu's eyes met.
Well, as far as he's concerned, Dan Simmons could
jump off the cliff or killed by Extra-1.
Asshole.
The rest of the FUNERAL wasn't any better.
Hmm...
They /were/ slightly better. Commander was good
enough. Although he had to be very careful not to
let his true intentions discovered by her.
Yeah.
Anything for revenge.
And maybe after everything's finally over, he could
hear that song again.
Maybe he could hear Maki sing again.

Notes:
Ooo... finally I finished my first Argento Soma fanfic.
I love Ryuu Soma, despite his angstiness and everything.
And I believe the way Dan Simmons treat him would be
healthy to him. Ryuu needs that.
