The Star-from a Pokemon's POV.
Disclaimer-I don't really own anything in this story except the background on Jigglypuff.
I'm so afraid.
The rain is pouring down on our little home. The wind is howling, and I have to hold on as tight as I can to what is left of my family. They are all so terrified...but so am I. I can't show it, though. That would scare them even more. It was just like this the night that Mom left...
She said she'd come back for us. I remember being only a baby then, too small to do much. She promised that she'd find a way back, no matter what. And she was only going after my brother...
He was captured by the poachers, the Team Rocket, a long time ago. I can barely remember him, except for one time...
It was raining hard, like now. I started to cry, but he held me, and in special Pokemon language he told me, Don't be scared. That's my only memory of him.
I fear my brother is now gone forever. I somehow know my mother is in danger, as well. Her, no, our kind is a rare sight, even here. And my worst fear is that the Team Rocket will come for me next, leaving all my baby brothers and sisters with no one.
The next morning, the rain has stopped. I realize now that I only have one choice.
I tell the next oldest, my younger brother, to watch over the family, just like Mom told me, and I set out to find my family with my only possession...a microphone marker that was left in the forest by a human long ago.
Every time a Pokemon or trainer tries to attack, I sing to scare them away. But every time they fall asleep. It makes me so mad I draw on their faces with my marker, and laugh as I walk away.
By the time I get close to the nearest town, my voice is all worn out. I see some trainers, and I know I can't sing, but I eventually let them see me. One of them gives me a sweet fruit, and suddenly I can sing again.
The trainers take me to the town and tell me to sing. They set up a stage and some lights. I grab my microphone and hear my tiny, high voice stream throughout the city.
When I have finished singing, I notice that the entire town has fallen asleep. Furious and disgusted, I draw on everyone's faces with my marker. Those three trainers seemed nice though. When they wake up I follow them on their journey.
That was ages ago. Now, though I have seen the Team Rocket many times, I have not been captured. And all who know my name know my power. Jigglypuff-The Lullaby Star. I started out on a journey so long ago to find and rejoin my family. I'm still looking.
