Nathan and Haley are married and living together in New York in an apartment. Nathan plays for the New York Knicks with Lucas. Haley works for the New York Times as a sports editor. After being with Nathan for so long she has learned to love sports and now knows almost as much as either Nathan or Lucas does about sports. Peyton and Lucas have been dating since highschool ended. Nathan and Lucas ended up both getting scholarship to Duke and were forced to room together. They had become good friends their senior year, and living together and playing for Duke cemented their relationship. Now not only are they brothers they are also best friends. Peyton decided to go to NYU to work on her art skills. She now works with Haley at the New York Times where she has her own strip. Haley ended up at Columbia since both Haley and Peyton were living in New York they decided to get an apartment together. Brooke decided to stay in Tree Hill for a little while and then went out to California to Southern California hopefully trying to become a designer to the stars. Though Peyton and Haley talk to her they have not seen her in a few years. Jake and Jenny moved to New York after finished college where Jake also plays for the Knicks. Jake decided to go to the University of North Carolina to be close to home, in case he needed his parents for som help and also so that they could see their granddaughter. Nikki never came into the picture. After Nathan and Haley got married they moved into a nice apartment building, soon Peyton and Lucas followed and finally Jake and Jenny moved in. They all live on the same floor very close to each other, and think of each other as family. To Jenny Lucas and Nathan and her uncle's and Peyton and Haley are her aunts.
