Red umbrella
Rain. Rain always brought people together. Let it be a book bag shared by children on there way home from school singing "rain rain go away come again another day" Or giving a cab to a women and her children. Yes rain brought every one together.
"Come on Pence schools over!" yelled a boy with slicked back blonde hair and blue eyes. His attire was a pair of dark blue dress pants and a white button up shirt with a lose black tie. An army-green backpack slung over his left shoulder.
"Yeah, the rain is getting harder and I don't want to get home soaked," said a girl with shinning green eyes with brown hair. Her attire was just like the boys but instead of pants she wore a knee-length skirt with knee-high socks.
"You guys go ahead I'm staying behind to help set up the new computers for the lab." Pence said his brown eyes showing the delight for new technology.
"All right we'll see you later, at the usual spot" with that his two friends left leaving the chubby boy to his computers.
"All right lad I think where done" an older man with glasses and a graybeard said. 'Why don't you go on home I think were all set" he said smiling.
"Alright sir i'll see you in the morning" he said picking up his red book bag with the words "Dog Street" on the back
"Oh man!" pence said, sighing to himself. The rain had gotten harder with the hour he was in the school. "Well looks like its not letting up anytime soon." he said a frown on his face.
"I know isn't it wonderful!" Said a cheerful, melodious voice.
Shocked pence look up to see a man in a long black coat with a very strange hairstyle, his aqua eyes shining at the sight of rain.
Pence didn't know what to think. He had to be the strangest man pence had seen.
"What do you call it" pence said looking at the man's hair, he looked down at pence with a cute smile.
"Well axel calls it a mull hawk but I don't know what to call it." He smiled leaning down to pence
"What do you think?" The man asked close, too close to Pence's face. Pence just blushed and backed away stuttering something about how that name was fine.
The man laughed, "I like you kid what's your name?" He asked standing up to his original height
"Umm its P-Pence" he said looking down blushing.
"Cool! My name's demyx!" Demyx said, holding out his hand.
Pence took it, getting a hardy handshake from the older teen
"You don't look too happy about the rain" Demyx observed.
Pence looked up now "well," he started "its no like that it's just..."
"Just?" Demyx asked
"I don't have my red umbrella." Pence said childishly.
Demyx laughed again, Pence liked the sound. It was so airy, it sounded like it had a melody. Pence shook his head at the thought then looked up to see a black umbrella over his head, and a smiling demyx holding it.
"We can share mine"
The walk was pleasant to say the least. demyx told pence of his sitar and his 'friends' in the house he lived in.
"Well," pence said stopping.
"Oh" said demyx a little surprised.
"Maybe i'll see you later." pence said getting out from the umbrella and walking up his steps.
"Wait!" Demyx said grabbing the shorter boys arm and putting his lips onto his. Pence eyes widened at the sensation not expecting it or the older teen to taste like bubblegum. Demyx smiled tasting sea salt ice cream on the shorter teen.
And then it was over. pence opened his eyes. The sun was shining and pence was alone. Demyx had left with the rain.
