Disclaimer: I don't own Monk

Adrian Monk shook his head in disbelief. A man killed his wife. How could he do that? GOD DID HE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LUCKY HE WAS TO HAVE HER IN HIS LIFE? Monk would do anything to have one more day even, just one more day with Trudy. To save her he would chop off his arms with a pooper scooper. How could this man not realize how precious his wife was?
"I'll be back," Monk said and walked outside to get some air. He sat down on the bench outside and started to cry.
"Monk, are okay?"
"He killed her. Why? Can't he see how precious her life was?"

"You're thinking about Trudy aren't you?"

"Yeah"

Monk sighed again.

"I miss her so much," he said

"I know," the captain replied, "I miss her too"
"Why would he do it"
"I don't know why Monk. Believe me if I could go back and make this better I would do anything to make it better. I wish I could make it better for you"
"I know you do Leland. GOD I know that. It's just so unfair. This bastard who doesn't even care about his wife… and my Trudy is gone. She's-"
"No. Monk Trudy isn't gone. She's in heaven."
"She's not with me"
"No," Leland agreed, "and I regret that she isn't with you. I know that if I could have made her better I would have"
"I know you would have"
Monk sighed and went back in the house.
