Vincent's POV:
It's been days after I killed Leo, and I wasn't happier after that. I resigned from the force in the aftermath, and I went to his trailer home to tell his Linda of what has happened.
Just as I expected, she didn't took it well, and she forced me out of the trailer. As Alex saw me sad, he knew something is wrong, so he went inside.
What have I done?
I took him away from them. If only I was honest with him from the very beginning, that would save us a lot of grief. Now Linda will have to live on without her husband, and Alex will have to live on without his father.
As I went home, I gave Carol a letter which is my resignation from the bureau. After what had happened to him because of me, I'm out. I have a wife to make up for and she just named our baby girl as Julie. I'm about to leave once more, assuming that she didn't want me inside until she asked me if I wanted to come in.
I'd love to.
Whatever the future has in store for me, I will regret killing Leo forever.
Leo's POV:
It's been days after I killed Vincent, and I wasn't happier after that. In fact, I grew a beard to make that point.
I'm planning to move away with Linda and Alex for a fresh start, but before I do that, I must fulfill his last wish. As I arrived at her house, I don't know what to tell Carol when I was about to deliver the letter to her. Whatever he wrote there, I'm sure it's about him regretting for not being with her when she is needed the most. However, I wasn't sure if I should show myself to her in person.
Did Emily or any other cops out there had already told her that he died because of me? Will she recognize me as his murderer?
I wasn't planning to stick around to find out the answer.
