It's more than I ever imagined, the great hall is more than anything my older 'siblings' have told be about...
It's been 17 years since I was moved from my home and family, into the Wayton's house for protection. That was probably where my life really began. They're a Pure blood family, full of Slytherin's, apart from 'uncle' Nay but we don't talk about him, so ever since I can remember, I've been told I have to be in Slytherin, by my 'parents' and 'brothers' and 'sisters', even my best friends, Daphne Greengrass and Pansy Parkinson. They thought it would be an abomination to be sorted into any other house, Especially Hufflepuff, which is apparently the house where ''the rest that are too stupid, too shy and too goody-goody'' go. I guess that's why, as the professor called Potter, Amelia, up to the stool, i head about a hundred gasps of shock and then a wave of whispers fly across the room. This was it. The moment all my foster family had been waiting for, and somehow out of all the people in the room, i saw my brother, Harry Potter, stare at me in shock as the sorting hat announced ''SLYTHERIN''. And that's where my story starts.
I know I shouldn't smile as the people gasp. But it's my nature. The girl who happens to be Harry Potters sister, has just been sorted into Slytherin. So as I walk down to the Slytherin table, sitting next to Pansy, I smirk at the stares. But my smirk soon fades as my glance turns to Harry. He's staring at me, with such pain in his eyes. He'd only just found out how famous he is. Now he has me to deal with. I smile slightly and look down my table, saying 'Hi' to a few people, including the blonde boy, Draco Malfoy, who had harassed Harry only a few minutes before. I clap as the sorting hat is put away, and the food appears in front of our eyes, grinning at Daphne, as she sits next to me. ''It all looks so good. My mother can't cook to save her life. And if she did, she wouldn't be helping any of mine.'' I smile as a few people laugh and begin to talk to Pansy, ''Why is everyone still staring?'' I ask, she replies with a smirk, ''I don't know. But you can soon sort them out.'' I smile and glare at a few people, who turn away as soon as they see me looking.
A few hours later, a tall, skinny boy with black hair stands and shouts, ''First years! Follow me!'' I reluctantly obliged and follow him down to the Slytherin common room. Smirking as I pass the Gryffindor table, and my brother. I roll my eyes and smile as his table glare at me. Maybe I am a Wayton after all? ''I can't believe how easy it is to annoy the Gryffindors' '' I whisper Pansy, as she smiles and glares at them.
Two minutes later, we are in our common room. I am sat on the windowsill, talking to my eldest 'sister'. ''Everyone kept staring... It's really weird.'' I look at her, then laugh as she shouts at the 4th years, who are stood, pointing and whispering. That was, until she shouted, after that, they all made a mad dash and ran out of the Common room.''See, now this is why I'm your favourite sister'' She says, leaning on my shoulder. I smile and nod, ''Of course it is...'' I yawn and look at her, ''Millie, I'm going to bed. Do me a favour? Don't shout until I wake up? I wont be able to sleep with you mouthing off with your big gob.'' I laugh and run to my dorm, before she can catch me. ''Ugh. Lessons tomorrow'' I check my timetable, reading it out loud. ''Potions – Professor Snape. Then flying – Madame Hooch, Divination – Professor Trelwaney'' I let out a loud sigh, ''All of our first three classes are with Gryffindor!'' I moan and thrown my timetable on the desk beside me, collapsing on my bed and falling instantly asleep.
