The bell rang loudly through the hallways of Hollywood Arts in Los Angeles, California. a school where only talented students get in. Door opened in every classrooms, loud chatters of students filled the hallway, some are still reading their books getting ready for their next class, girls getting the latest news and boys who nonstop talk about last night's concert.
Kendall Knight, a sophomore, slowly walk to his locker with a guitar case on his back, he carry it everywhere he goes. He opened his locker and carelessly stuffed his things in his bag, suddenly in his senses he look over his shoulder to find a blonde girl in a simple white tee shirt and jeans walking through the hallway with her books on her chest. Jo Taylor. Kendall carefully gazed her as she disappear from the hallway, Kendall sighed, she barely even know him, yes they share music class together, but he is sort of invisible to her, the last time he remembered they talked is when she asked him what are the chords of the song they are assigned, she was one of the top singers in music class while he is just a part of a band behind.
He zipped his bag up and started walking towards another way instead of his next class.
Logan Mitchell, a sophomore, walked through the hallways looking really confused and amazed by the school, the school was really different from other schools. He doesn't really know who to talk to or who to ask help to. He was new and just got here from Texas. He was okay with his last school, top of the class, lots of friends… and now everything seems a blur to him, a little bit later the hallways slowly started to decrease, they are going in their classrooms he was now fast walking until later he finally found his next class he sighed in relief. He finally got to the classroom, the teacher is already there and everyone looked at him, the teacher wasn't really fond of his tardiness.
Kendall carefully strummed his guitar and having a hard time listening to himself because of the loud voices of the other students, especially on the table from the corner, even though their cafeteria is outside and open you can still hear their voices loud and clear. They were all laughing about the Latino boy the Kendall's know from Literature class. His was Carlos Garcia, resident class clown, if he has purposely pot cola up his now he'll do it just to make everyone laugh, he is a nice kid and a friend to anybody. Kendall slightly chuckled when he overheard a joke from him. Suddenly a brunette girl with streak in her hair wearing a beanie and dark clothing sat beside him and rest her arm on his shoulder. "didn't see you at art class today." It was his best friend Jade West, they both share the same interest and treat each other like sibling. "I got caught cutting." He answered quickly. "You know you should really stop these antics if you want to graduate properly." She said as she stole Kendall's guitar and started playing it. He chuckled at her "you're not innocent yourself, you got sent yesterday". She rolled her eyes and explained that she was sent because she caught taking pictures of people without their permission. It was her hobby, she loves taking photo of the school, sometimes people just get it wrong. They played some songs with the guitar and a little later Kendall stopped when he saw Jo laughing from afar, Jade saw this and just looked down. "Hey, have you already grabbed lunch?" He snapped back at her said no. "C'mon let's grab some lunch."
