Luffy blinked up at Sanji, silhouetted in the kitchen doorway. He began again, holding a soapy scrub brush in one outstretched hand.
"Gomu-gomu-–"
"No gomu!"
"Gomu-–"
"I said, no gomu!" Shoe met hat-covered head with a hollow sound.
"Why not?"
"You'll break stuff."
Luffy frowned. He wouldn't break anything! He lowered his voice to whisper, "Gomu-gomu-–"
The words cut off suddenly with a clunk.
"No!" Clunk. "Gomu!" Clunk. "In my kitchen!" Clunk.
Chopper tugged on Vivi's sleeve, wide-eyed. "Are they always like this?"
The princess sighed, shaking her head. "It's just cleaning day."
